  1. I doubt an repair install will help as this appears to be a SP2 issue. If 'pre-sp2' firewall worked; but uninstaling and reinstalling SP2 didn't help, it seems something else is messed up. You could try the repair install, as you won't lose any of your data.
  2. Hi and welcome to Besttechie! Please print out all directions given, for use if/when you cannot access this page. Please scan with HJT and place a check next to the following items: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WhenUSave] C:\PROGRA~1\SAVE\Save.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe Then, make sure all browser windows and other applications are closed, and click the Fix Checked button. Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter
  3. Wow, what a loaded question. I usually dont have an answer when people ask me my favorite band, for a couple reasons: I like some many bands, and of those, I don't really favor one over the other I phase in and out in what I listen to. Maybe Led Zeppelin for a week, next week I'm on Pink Floyd. But in answer to the first question.. My favorite type of music is Classic Rock. I find so much more musical value and content/meaning in classic rock, compared to today's music. Don't get me wrong, I do like bands of today, but anyone can play power-chords and yell. I see you like The Who. I'
  4. 100% But thats probably because they cram this stuff into our heads at school all the time
  5. Please download, unzip, and run the attached file. It may not seem like it did anything, but the file C:\look.txt will be created. Post the contents of that file please. Matt
  6. These directions are coming from Jeff: Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop: Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement, leave [X]scan through Windows Explorer checked, click > scan then > next You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers). Copy and paste this log in your next reply. Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe"
  7. Delete on reboot is a good option. Thats why many people use Killbox for every fix. Its often just a kind of preference thing. Sometimes deleting in Safe Mode won't work, and a delete on reboot is needed. I like Killbox because its much easier (especially with multiple files) than with the HJT tool. Matt

Well, I got that much. I was wondering however, if it was alluding to a specific event? Like, perhaps, an overthrow of a government, a war, a rough time in one's life? I dunno, maybe I was looking too deep into it. Matt
  9. Ya Pierce. We've got Pre-paid plans. Unfortunately, most of them are rip-offs. Pre-paid plans cost so much, you have to keep re-paying, and you get very little minutes. I tried 3 pre-paid plans before I finally got my Sprint phone. Basically, pre-paid is only good if you only talk a very little bit, but you will use them, because the minutes you pay for expire.

When I listen to a song, I like to think about what it means, from the perspective of the listener and the artist. What influenced them to write it, and what affect is has on the listener. Songmeanings.net is a great place for looking into that. Now, heres a song by Pink Floyd: Sheep. Most people who listen to Pink Floyd know that almost all their songs have meaning and ideas beyond what the actual lyric come out and say. I've listened to this song countless times, I've read over the lyrics many times as well (heck, its even in my sig!). I just can't find anything any deeper than that th
  11. Hi shanenin. Yes, there are a lot worse things she could be doing at that age, but you should still not ignore the problem. When I had a cell phone (I dropped it and it shattered a few months ago ) I had no text messaging included in the plan. However, I still had the capability to do it. This sounds like what you have, with the inability to cancel it. Mine also cost $0.10 for every text sent and received. Basically what my parents told me was, if I didn't pay for all the text message charges (along with the other service charges I owed) then they would take away the phone. Maybe some
  12. Wow, much better than before! Matt
  13. Got this in an email today, pretty funny WATER...... It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed morethan 1 kilo of Escherichia coli bacteria; which is found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop! However, we do not run that risk when drinking beer because alcohol has to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and fermenting. So....... WATER = Poop BEER = HEALTH Free yourself of Poop, drink BEER!!! It is better to drink beer and talk sh*t than to drink water and be full of it!
  14. Thats assuming this is all true. I didn't see anything in the article with direct proof that all traffic going through att is being recorded.
  15. Hmmm. Just about every site I tried didnt go through att. Only nsa.gov did.. and its not like I go there...
