handplane
Hey to all,Thanks to all for your concern. We survived the BITCH, KATRINA.Lost power Mon at 6:55am.Just had it restored today, Thur 9/1/05 at 11:30am.No server damage here.Been fighting with the power company to restore it.Finally got a hold of some one who heard our plea for help. The wife is a survivor of a brain aneurysm and has terrible head pain and the heat, 85 degrees in the house at night, made her suffering worse.Thank God it could have been total disaster, in the greater Baton Rouge area.New Orleans, my home town, and the surrounding area will never be the same, what a shame!!!There are a lot of people in Baton Rouge from New Orleans and the criminal element came along with them and they causing havoc already, another shame. You can not reach out to some people and expect kind in return. Finally, believe what you see and hear on TV, about New Orleans, for it's much worse.PS,Now for important things.Missed not being able to get on line.Football has been canceled for this weekend, LSU and all the high schools as well.Damn KATRINA!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine going through such a terrible disaster, then having to cope with the heat and humidity on top of it all. And saw it was raining in New Orleans today.I hope and pray that all that need help will soon get it.Pat. God bless everyone.

DOSError
Yeah, I'm glad you're alright. My job has branches in some of the areas that were hit hard. Just today we found out that the manager at our Biloxi Missippi branch is ok and is staying with her relatives in Texas.Another employee from the same branch is in a shelter and she said that she was told that her apartment floor was flooded with just over 5ft of water.
