well i'm we're up to 3 large broken branches in the yard and 1 tree that jsut split in half and the mounting bracket for the phone lines broke off the house and the lines are on the ground. i am also having trouble keeping the satalite signal for the tv. wow we got alot of heavy snow fast. it's a good thing that i just finished fixing the furnus last week, so i'm nice and toasty warm or i'd be huddling up with my computer to keep warm, rubbing my feet over heat sink for the processor. glad i'm home, there were some problems with my cedit card for ordering those parts for my sub $500 gaming co

ok here's the deal, i've got an HP Pavilion 750n and i'm wanting to sell it but it is missing the front bezel and top cover. it'll cost $30 to get a whole new case off eBay for $30 or i've got a nice custom case with a window and neon light inside that i paid $30 for a while ago for another project that i'm no longer need. i'm trying to decide whith way is going to help it sell for more, looking stock or looking like a custom. here's a link the case that i have My Case so what do you guys think? i'm leaning towards getting a new case like the old 1 myself.

it's alot easier to go online and say something so there's more of those than usual and since most people are motivated when thing go wrong, i think that's why there's more low reviews. and NamingIsHard has a good point too. most people don't know how to make a good review anyways.

i've got WOW (world of warcraft) on the brain *macmarauder picks up arcanine reaper axe and charges the spider and yells AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! *Spider performs critical attack *macmarauder becomes filled with fear effect from spider and lunges into the couch for safety and drinks a healing postion for comfort ok so i'm not so Elite in the real world but that's ok, i'm hack into it's computer and blow up it's files later. ummm do spiders even have computers?

well i was at the indoor fleamarket and came accross a D-Link DI-604 Router for $5. which is a really awsome deal and iv'e got the whole thing up and running now. 1 of the very few computer areas i have little expoerience with is metworking and i could not figure out why i couldn't IP share or even use a cloned Mac Address. turns out that my paticular router won't IP share and freaks out with a cloned Mac Address. ohhhh well, i'm up and runnding now, both my Mac and Pc are sharing the net nice and peacefull like and i'm even thinking of tossing my linux box on there too. besides i need to teac

i thought that i must just be missing something cause i'm using a Linsys EZXSS5W router and no matter what i tried i just can't get internet sharing to work. so i assumed that the earthlink firmware in the DSL modem must be checking the MAC address or hardware id or something. but after even more googling i just found out that paticular router might not support internet sharing which i find very strange and i didn't know until just now.

ok here's the deal, i want to set up internet share between 2 computers on a DSL line, but Earthlink has something where it knows which computer is currently using the internet and they want you to pay extra to let you share the connection to multiple computers at the same time. i've tried to look up more info especially from others with the same problem but i have yet to find anything on google that can help. any ideas of how i can get around this without hacking? or anywhere that i might be able to find more information about or others dealing with this. i was thinking of using an IP share

you have to remember too that since we are primarily a tech support site that most of those member accounts were used once or twice just to ask a question and get help that 1 time. most people don't stick around to chat.

i was out and about on the net skimming for a new screen saver for my Mac & Windows Systems and i was thinking of that it might be nice if we had a place to share what paticular screen savers were our favorites. On my Macs i currently have Plasma and on the Windows System i have The Flaming Dragon and i use GLMatrix on the Linux Side

danm and i liked him too. he was a fearless man and a hell of an enviromentalist. he will be greatly missed.

NICE!! i love custom work spaces. reminds me of my old life messages days. since i was constantly working on 3-4 different computers i couldn't use a desk so i just used an old school lunch table and slide side to side between computers.
