ok i've got this friend (wink wink) ok i really mean me. here's where i'm at now. i've had trouble installing PcLinuxOs every time (4 times) and now it won't even boot. and i can't seem to get it to boot from the cd. also i did set it up for dual boot but right when it is supposed to go from the choice screen to linux is where it crashes. how can i uninstall the bootloader from windows or can you recommend a windows utility that i can use to wipe the partisan with linux on it so that i can try again with another distro. ohhhh i'm so embarrassed, my first real attempt at Linux and it's a mess

keeeeewl toy robroy, maybe someday you'll get the real thing i drove 1 for a year or so and i liked it, they're neat cars and sometimes when you feel a little silly you can make noises and pretend your in a space ship.

thanks for the super quick response. i got it figured out though. now i've got bootlogger working and i can boot to either of them now. thanks again though. i must've come in through the Drive Through Linux Support Section. LOL

ok i partitioned the HD into 2 sections, then installed windows xp on 1 and then installed pc linux os on the other. even after a couple of tries i couldn't get bootlogger to work. well i deleted the partitions that linux on them and now it's still trying to boot to linux. i just need to get it to boot to windows for now. *sigh*

powered by and AMD Processor starting with 1 Gig of ram for now RAM i'll upgrade later but this is plenty for me and it was a cheap VideoCard all put on an Nvidia Elite Motherboard and all of that was stuffed into this Liquid Cooled Case i also added a PCI slot cooling fan right next to the video card, cdrw drive, dvd, firewire card with 2 plugs on the back, 4 USB and 1 firewire plugs on the front, a cooling fan for the Hard Drive, 430 watt power supply, and a contoler for all the fans. i've got windows xp on there now but i'm setting up a dual boot between Windows XP and PcLinux Os (Gamer Ed
