Well beleve it or not, I have never used knoppix. If you are wondering why, 700 megs takes around an hour to download at school, and will take around a couple of months on my dial up connection...lol

I think that it would be a great idea to make a "hidden" forum and devote it to just copy HijackThis logs there. I think that you should copy logs there, and let certain people be able to post "pratice" responces. Let this be only limited to people at SWI's Boot camp, and TC's Classroom. That would be cool, dk

Well, B (or whoever answers this log), I ran CWShredder, Norton. I took a look at the log, uninstalled New.net, used LSPFix and fixed a broken 010.....um..got rid of a BHO, some startup items...., some 016's....nothing that would mess my system..., need to boot into safe mode, delete some crap, end some processes, whatever. BTW, the 017's are good...so don't waste your time on them.. Tell me what to do please!! Well, apparently, Vundo isn't gone. Norton keeps on finding it in different files. Then when we go to look for it, it switches which file it infects. Ex: Vundo found in xmlfax.exe. Ex2: Vundo found in ******.exe * = random This worries me... :x dk

It's behaving fine...no more of norton and avg poping up... I told my mom to scan with CWShredder, and it deleted 1 thing...also got her spybot S&D...should have done that a LONG time ago...
