OK, in Murfreesboro there is a great looking 5 speed 2-dr 2.3L SOHC VTEC 4 Cylinder (man that 3.0L V6 would be wicked) 98 Accord EX for $5200 but with 13 records. My guess is newer cars have more records. Except my dad's 98 tacoma (which we bought new, I think the the guy with the accord bought it used) only has 3 records and the 03 cruiser has 2. I wish my parents would spring for the $25 unlimited carfax reports so I can see what these records are. The records on the Integra weren't really what concerned me but rather the fact it was sitting on steel wheels and not the 16 spoke alloys it's

well I'm staying away from that integra. I found pics of it on cars.com. The bumper doesn't seem to be fitting right and it's on steel wheels. I'm guessing this thing's been wrecked. Plus it has 13 records on car fax while my Civic only has 6. That thing has been through so much and only has 6 records then I certainly ain't touching that Integra. I'd rather have the 91 Integra GS for $1700. Well I'm on the search again. That 91 Accord EX is looking better and better. I can swap an H22A1 (2.2L DOHC VTEC) in the place of the F22 (2.2L SOHC non-VTEC) and have some fun. I've also spotted a 97 acco

I was doing about 15mph on impact he was slowed down pretty good too cause he saw it coming just like I did. If It weren't such a high vehicle, I wonder how much damage would have happened. If it were another car instead of an SUV I think my bumper and frame would have absorbed most of the Impact and the engine would have remained fairly undamaged. Instead my bumper was knocked down and off and the Jeep's front end tore into my engine bay cause of it's height. Well hopefully the lower lip and puppy dog eyes will get me the Integra. I'm really praying for that car. It'll be reminscent of my civ

Well folks, if I'm lucky I might be rolling in a Red 97 Acura Integra GS-R. I always wanted a B18C1 motor. And I might just have one. That bad boy is a 1.8L DOHC VTEC cranking a factory 180HP versus my old D16Z6 (1.6L SOHC VTEC) 125HP horse facory (maybe 135 with the stuff that was on it). This Integra has a tuned exhaust too. I'll miss my car greatly. It'll spend some time at my granny's sitting with a wrecked 65 chevy half ton and an old Caprice (those are just the non-running/wrecked heaps, there are 2 running trucks, 2 cars, a van, and a tractor). We'll strip it for what we can. SOme thing

Well the wheels seem fine bubba. I'm getting sore already. I wrecked at about 10:30 but was in class on time at 12:30 thanks to my dad. 10 Minutes into class my neck and collarbone hurt plus I had a quiz. I left school at 3:20 also courtesy of my dad. Glad my laptop survived. It got flung out of the front seat. I saw the wreck coming. I looked at that turn and was praying no one was coming. Then I saw that Cherokee. My feeling wasn't "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" but rather "aww jeez". My final thought before impact was, of course, "Goodbye friend". We're gonna try and get a U-Haul car trail

well my civic's untimely end has put a screeching halt on some of my plans. I'm stuck at home with the computer now. I can still go out walk and what not, but not for a few days. Man I'm sore. Particularly my collarbone. When my friend gets his 67 Mustang rolling right again I can hang with him until I get a new car. Until I get Honda #2, (or Acura #1) I'll have to roll in one of 3 vehicles. a 1979 Pontiac Bonneville, a 1996 Buick LeSabre, or a 1973 3/4 Ton Chevy Van. It'll probably be the Bonneville unless my mom and grandmother see it fit for me to drive the LeSabre. Both are embarrising. Th

Well something similar happened to me and a friend of mine. In his 67 mustang pulling out of the mall headed across the road to an electronics store for some car audio stuff. A minivan turning left next to us and a corolla turning left on the other side of the road. We were paying attention to the corolla making sure they were watching cause it seemed like they weren't. He had to take off in second cause a clutch prob. Well If we had taken off normally, he could have died and me too or nearly dead. An old nissan truck not paying attention to the light takes the front end off the minivan and mi

Bad curve, bad weather, oil and fluids from other wrecks, and a Jeep Cherokee. Brakes locked, wheel was turned. Head on collision. Luckily we were both going slow. Nice fellow. would have liked to have met him in a different way. No one was hurt. Just a totaled Civic and a moderately damaged but wiht a few hundred dollars, a perfectly drivable Jeep. Just machines. Unfortunately I talked to mine like it was alive. I feel like I've lost a best friend. I will miss you my beloved Civic. Rest in Peace. You served me, my brother, John, and your first owner well. Goodbye.

I'm back again to let ya'll know, I've kinda figured out my travel plans. My dad is behind me 100% on it too. he wishes he could go with me but he can't cause of work. Basically, I'll find a friend who wants to travel across the US with me. I'll find a better paying job and start saving money. The friend will do the same (at least saving money) we then buy and old hatchback Civic project car to build. Something like a 92-98. Preferably a 92-95 Si. We swap the the motor and keep the old one as a spare for my current car (it has nearly 160000 miles). We source a B16A2 from a 99-00 Civic Si or s

well I've seen outlaw star (all of it) but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Naruto ain't my thing. the .hack series is wierd but not too bad. The three Tenchi Seires were good (Particularly Tenchi Universe). I'd like to see some of the movies for it. I've heard of Ranma and Love Hina but have never seen them. Inuyasha is just a replacement for Dragonball only much better. I didn't mind the original Dragonball but Z and GT are just repetitive and retarded. Ghost in the shell is ok but not my favorite and Read or Die was interesting but again not a favorite. THat right there is everything I've s

Well i'm bored, basically. I can't think of where to go on the internet. I'm not a "searcher". My bookmarks are pretty much the only places I go. I'm tiring of forums, mainly cause I only go to 4. Mostly BT and the EVGA forums. Rarely I visit the HardMud.com forums and the Forgotten Hope part of the Filefront forums. I'm just at a loss. My interest in anime as kinda sparked again after something I found on the internet. My dad got The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr. DVD set from my mom for his birthday and after spotting an old pile of Mobile Suit Gundam Action figures I had long since put aw

So The Wii Looks To Have A Pretty Impressive Launch...
Honda_Boy replied to Conundrum's topic in Electronics & Hardware
The only problems I have with it, the name, and emulators. I've been using emulators for years and wouldn't wanna spend money on "classic" games. Pus the fact I have about 30 NES games sitting in a basket over here. If I wasn't such a die hard PC gaming fan I might look into one. Also I'm poor as dirt right now, especially thanks to my gaming rig, and my parents ain't rich either thanks to my laptop. -
that's kinda like Pull a Part up in Nashville. They let you go in and take it out yourself. I think the trailing arms (I think that's what they were called) off a 4 door civic for rear discs at the yard my brother and I were at, were only gonna cost like $50 and that blew my brother away. I woulda got em If I had money right then.

talk about eating up memory. I've reduced the memory for the video from the ridiculously high 128MB to a more practical 64 to give the thing a little room to breathe(it'll be back to 128 when I drop another 512MB of RAM in this beast). Even then it was slow. I've reinstalled windows with 0 hp stuff on it. In fact it doesn't even say HP when I right click My Computer and click properties. It's much more responsive now. It doesn't take 2 minutes for Firefox to load.

Man I'm having to do a complete reinstall of windows on my new Laptop. The person on eBay I got it from graciously did a Clean install but unfortunately stuck the dread HP software and driver recovery disc in too. SO now I got a monsterous load of crap I don't want on it so I'm just gonna do a another fresh install sans HP crap. AVG, FF, Winamp, and openoffice instead of no antivirus, IE, iTunes, and Works. Good luck de-crapifying your new Smell, I mean Dell computer.

one day my brother and I had a blast looking through a junk yard. We weren't looking for anything in particular other than maybe finding parts to do a 4 wheels disc conversion for my car. We run through a ton of stuff just the fun of it. Plus when we got done it looked like we had just got done mudding in his 4Runner. Man that was a fun day. Till I had to graduate that is. It was the same day as my graduation that we did that.

Well I finally got it. I'm using right now but I think I'm going to reinstall Windows on it tonight. It's got a fresh install but the software that came with it is installed too. I don't feel like going through and uninstalling everything so I'll just do it my way and have it how I want by tommorrow. I'm taking this thing to class today. It weighs nothing. Man my old IBM THinkpad 380 (150MHz P1 MMX) weighs a ton compared to this thing. man it rocks. Well I'm going. Got some writing to do.

Norton ghost creates an Image of your hard drive for back up most people use t when changing hard drives or moving to new computers or soemthing like that. I thought Norton ghost got Replaced though. I personally wouldn't pay it no mind. Since I build my own rigs, nothin like that bugs me on a new computer .

Tennessee Farm Bureau here. Why? My dad is a Systems Analyst at the headquarters. (According to Cingular he works for Allstate cause they didn't want to lose us to Verizon) It's a little more than a $100 a month for me for Liabiltiy and Comprehensive. You have to take into account I'm 18. Lucky for me my rates are that low. Most other 18 year olds pay more (I actually just pay 70 parents pay the rest).

We have a bunch of large insulated plastic cabinets we carry food in on caterings at work and they were outside during that storm. They got knocked over and blown 20. Man that storm was rough.

Buy Windows Xp Cd Without License
Honda_Boy replied to xxkbxx's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
hmmmm I think the trick only works OEM to OEM. IE you must have an OEM disc (like my home SP2) and an OEM Key (like the Home SP1 key on my Compaq, it was the first computer I did this on). I could be wrong though. Different service packs don't matter since the upgrade through MS is free anyway. I just don't think an OEM disc and upgrade key are compatible. -

I was just snoopin in the computer shop the a few months ago and happened upon a PC tool kit. It's got 2 philips head screwdrivers, 1 big 1 little. 2 Flat heads, same as philips torx screw driver (for Compaq's and others) hexagonal shaped screw driver that fits over CD and HDD screws a smaller one to fit I/O screws like what you screw your monitor into Chip puller Chip pusher tweasers a syringe looking thing that that sticks out 3 claw wires for picking up screws you've dropped in the case (very handy) and a screw tube (a tube to put screws in while you're working on the PC)
