Windows Not Booting .... Puzzled
Honda_Boy replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
use MOBILedit! next time. It's free and it works fine for my V3 Razr. Only problem is, no matter what when i plug my cell phone in if I right click something that whatever I highlight and click after that remains on the screen until I reboot the system. That's just the drivers for my Razr that's causing that, not MOBILedit! Also MP3 player cables and TI-84 Plus cables make awesome alternatives to the over priced Motorola cable. They are all the same. Thank you Creative Labs and Texas Instruments. Wow am I ever cheap. I cut corners where I can. Hey my bumper on my new 96 hatch is not on. I sho -
Finally, I took some new pics. Hope ya like em. There a bunch of em and hopefully the car will look better sometime soon.

you installed 2.0 over 1.06 or 1.5.0.6? I installed it over 1.5.0.7 and everything worked perfectly. And that's on both my gaming rig and my laptop. I haven't installed it on my Compaq yet. I rarely use it.

works too good for me. I purposely misspell certain things and I see red dots everywhere. Other things however I'm very glad it gets. I've noticed that my posts aren't as messed up now.

well you know I really wanted that $1100 Sport suspension set from Mugen but I had to settle for the $150 springs. It seems H&R is a popular brand for suspension stuff anyway. When I get rich there'll be Mugen all over this car. Maybe some Jun racing stuff too like adjustable cams and what not. Japanese parts out the hind end. I'd drive a right hand drive car if it weren't for the fact it'd be a pain to pass someone on a highway. Ah well, at least when I get about $2000 I'll buy the JDM Civic SiR conversion kit from Password JDM. And when I get even more cash I put a Mugen Aero kit for my

Happy B-Day man. Hope ya have a goodun.

And the next thing being done is THIS!!! H&R OE Sport Springs. A slight lowering (or in my case, a lift) to improve track performance without radically changing the look of the vehicle but still giving a noticeable drop. Sweet. Eat that Dodge. I've got a Honda with German engineered suspension. Ok so the hatch still isn't on but that's cause I haven't hit any body shops up yet for a price. I woulda taken some pics today but it rained all day and still is raining. I'm telling ya'll if I ain't got the hatch painted by December, I'm putting it on anyway for Christmas. I gotta call for an app

Trying To Fix Someone's Pc But Hit A Snag
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I bought a Memorex OptiFix Pro and it got rid of some of the scratches..................after running the disc through about 6 times. Some of the heavier ones are still there but it works fine it seems. I'm using right now. I also got the guy to give me some money to buy a new drive. I asked for 30 and that's what I got. Wally world ain't got those $25 CD-ROMs anymore. The cheapest they ahd was a Lite-On burner for $30 before tax. I dsicovered that I had a $20 in my wallet so I ran over to the music section. Hot dang, they had Queensryche's Q2K. So it came out to $49 exactly. I have no probs p -
Trying To Fix Someone's Pc But Hit A Snag
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
oh yeah jumpers set right, the drives are not being recognized in the BIOS. I even tryed to slave the CD drive with the hard drive and still nothing. *just frickin great. I got the stinkin drive working, a simple off to auto in the BIOS fixed it. Problem is I had my disc in the drive and it started noticing it and getting ready to install windows XP, I hear a very dis-concerting noise. My HP Windows XP Home SP2 disc had jumped out of the tray inside the drive. Scratched all to pieces. I'm not sure if it's useable but I'm going to walmart to buy a Disc Dr. to try and fix it. Good thing it wasn -
So I'm working on this Smell Dimented 4600. I need to reinstall windows but I noticed that the computer is not recognizing the CD-Drive. I pull it out and it's a samsung that looks similar to the Samsung DVD-ROM that crapped out on me in my compaq. Well I put in a working LG and it's not recognized either. Well I try 2 different IDE cables and nothing. What's going on with this thing? Shot IDE controller? Bad IDE port? Thanks for any help and a thanks from the "customer" (dad's friend that's actually paying me) too.

I got the headlights fixed, blown fuse. Turns out my wiring has been beefed up to handle higher power bulbs. I also got my intake in. The "cold air intake" that was in it was actually 2 short rams hooked together. My new intake look smuch nicer and doesn't run the risk of getting water in it. I got ALL the lights working now. my center brake light was out and I finally replaced the bulb. I swear, when I remeber I'll get pics of what the beast looks like now.
-
actually these bulbs you can pick up at any Advance, O'Reily's, NAPA, or Autozone. THe housings that I refer to as Type-R housings, I'm not sure where the guy got them. All I know is Password JDM carries brand new ones OEM from Honda (Japan) for like $500. Too bad mine look so awful. I could say to people "HEY! these housings are worht 500 bucks. That's how much my first car was worth!" if they didn't look like crap. The non-reflective parts of the Type-R housing are black instead of chrome. Just so you know. It's kinda hard to justify spending $500 to replace them when I could find a set of U

Fix or Repair Daily or Found on Road Dead My problem is fro stupidity. Using regualr headlihgts ain't no prob but the folks on Honda-Tech told me there are actually 1 fuse to each headlight so I'm not sure what to think now. When I get back home from Chattanooga I'll check it out. P.S. Hang on, Not Done Accelerating

Dvd Burners Compatibility
Honda_Boy replied to Joeybuttta's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
leave the jumper on CS (cable select) on both drives and see what happens. -
Man I am PISSED. I get off work today, walk out to the car and start it up and wipe some dew off my windshield. Well it's really fogged so i turn the defroster on and let it sit for a while. I chat with my co-workers for a bit. I get back in the car when the windshield is defogged and I turn the knob on the turn signal stick for my headlights. Something doesn't look right. The building wasn't illuminated. My manager turns his headlights on and yes the building is illuminated. I get out of my car and look at my Type-R headlights and no light other than the corners. BOTH my headlights were out.

And Mozilla is has released an RC of Firefox 2 so IE7 is gonna have shape up.

Well my project continues. Next on my list is this! My AEM Short Ram Intake! Boy short is the word. The cold air that's in my car right now is actually a modified Ram air. You can see where the extension was added. This short ram is een shorter. But it's alright cause this short ram should produce more power plus it will eliminate the risk of the motor from seizing. Water can get in that cold air but it can't get in a short ram. Next on my list is to get my new hatch painted in Black Primer. That way it'll still look alright without me having to dump a massive amount to get the whole car pain

goth's are nothing. At my high school they were the friendliest bunch of people around. In fact, I am more closley related to goths than many other social groups at schools. I was more of the wear whatever fit kinda guy and most of my shirts were black so some people thought I was goth. I never wore any black makeup though and never did any of that mess. In fact I always wear blue jeans and light gray and white shoes too. (On some days like a few days ago you'll catch me in prep attire. I was wearing a blue Fossil shirt that said Rooster Creek Bottled Water and I was wearing brown leather sand

An S-video To Composite Adapter
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
You know I did but for some reason my search didn't quite get those results and I don't know why. Seems amazon has what I need. I wonder why newegg doesn't. -
I had a little adapter from nVidia that came with my evga GeForce 6600GT but it broke. It plugged into the video card (or my use for it, the laptop despite it being ATI it worked before breaking) into the HD/S-Video output and it went to a little thing that had HD/Progressive scan, Composite and S-Video. I don't know why it had S-Video cause if you use S-Video then you can plug it straight into the card in the same plug. Maybe to go to multiple TV's I guess. ANYWHO, I broke mine and I need (want) a new one. There is only one TV in the house with S-Video and that's the main 27" downstairs. I ha

THere is actually 2 better remotes for sale on ATI's online shop. The Remote Wonder Plus $49.99 and the Remote Wonder II $39.99.

Update on my differing myself. I back on wheels again. As I've already said in other threads it's a 96 Civic CX Hatchback with a B16A2 Engine swap. How erie. I said I should forget the 95 and get a hatch and do a engine swap with a 99-00 Si motor and what do ya know. That's exactly what I ended up with. Motor already done and all. It's already sitting on Integra Alloys and everything. Second day of having my hatch, my friends and I hung out so I got out of the house. Me, the Snowman and Brando went and got some food and hung and Brando's house. We tried to find Rob and Adam but they were in F

you've got to be kidding, it worked.

I don't think you have to have an ATI video card Also apparently this version of the remote isn't that great but the Remote Wonder II that ATI sells in there on online store works much better. My laptop has ATI graphics so I'm not worried about compatibility. I only use nVidia in my desktops though. My laptop is what I watch videos on though. I need to put 1. a DVD burner and 2. a larger hard drive in it cause that 40 GB isn't enough for my videos. I already have about 6 gigs. According to the requirements it doesn't seem like it matters what video chip you have, it's just it integrates with
