well for one thing I think a Mod is gonna move this to PC support but if you already have a 939 board I'd say stick with it unless you are just itchin to spend some cash.

crap I even reinstalled firefox and it still does it. Maybe I'll have to do the complete uninstal and reinstall. First, I need to know where my bookmark file is. I may either back up the one I have or copy the one from the upstairs computr (it has more bookmarks and they are organized in folders). Second I need to know wher eall the rest of the files are. I've done this once but can't remember how. If someone could remind me it'd be nice. Thanks.

yep they both run on AVG but the main system has sunbelt Kerio. I'm fixin' to run Spybot and Ad-aware. I may also reinstall Sunbelt Kerio and see if that helps. It was installed on the old computer (ff too) and I have done a repair install for Windows when I moved it over to the new system. I'm also having problems with some games but thats for another thread. *I've run Spybot and Ad-Aware and even disabled thefirewaal and still takes time. Now I'm torn between 3 things to do. 1. Buy new Raptor HDD. 2. Buy second GeForce 7600GT. 3. Use EVGA Step-Up to upgrade to 7900GT.

if I'm not mistaken there are only a certain amount of those numbers possible, and the same symbol is by every number that is possible. find the symbol next to 9. No matter what number you come up with that is going to be the symbol cause 9 is one of the possible numbers. Do the trick then look at 9 they'll be the same symbol. * ok I have completely figured out the pattern, 10 to 19 =9, 20 to 29=18, 30 to 39=27, etc.

Okay when I turn FF on on my main system (Athlon 64 3500+, 1GB RAM, Hardwire) it takes a few seconds (bout say 7-8) for the homepage (google) to load. The window just sits there and then after a few seconds it shows up. Well my Compaq (Athlon XP 2600+, 1GB RAM, wireless) It loads instantly. Now on the main system if I already have a browser open and open another window it loads instantly. On IE it loads instantly too. FF only takes time to load when I open it with no other window open. Now this is the same exact install of windows my old Athlon XP 3000+ system started with. I have never reinst

that's nice that it is freeware again. back in the days when I used IE I too used Freesurfer Mk.II. Then they quit offering it and you had to pay for the companion. Now the Companion is free and they offer Mk.II again. Ah well, I use FF now and I don't go to enough sites with pop ups to worry about it.

hide the IE icons and make her use firefox. I just told my family to use Firefox cause it's safer. Also it's my computer and they are nice enough to use firefox so as to protect it. My mom took to firefox just fine and so did my dad.

i'd say my house's only power problem is the computers. Luckily my new system has AMD Cool 'n' Quiet that reduces power consumption and I have switched to an LCD for it too. I'm thinking of buying another LCD for my bedroom computer so save some more power. I always shut down my Computers at night and when I leave the house with no one around. We always keep our AC at a power saving level. We could also save a little energy by turning off the cable box and reciever/amp at night. Something ain't quite right with the printer so we leave it on cause when it gets turned off it doesn't like to turn
