oh happy days. My manager's friend works at a body shop PLUS this guy's dad owns it. So my manager has offered to sand the hatch down for me and even bought me some Midori Green Mica paint in exchange for 2 old car CD Players (The paint was $25 and that's about how much these 2 OLD cd players were worth). Then after that we are going to take it to this shop and have it painted (color matched and everything) for somewhere around $100. YES!!!!!!!!!! Then all I need to do is get some side skirts and the car will be half-way decent looking. On another note, if I play my cards right, I might just h

I have a V3 Razr on Cingular Blue and my bud has a Chocolate on Verizon. My reception is usually pretty good and his cuts out a lot. The only complaints I have with the Razr is the battery life (which doesn't matter too much to me since I hardly use the thing) and the speed. This thing is slow when trying to do some things. It's like it's processor just ain't fast enough. Now I have an original V3 Razr. There are newer versions out like the V3xx or something of the sort. nVidia makes the processors for them things now so I bet they are a little faster.

well me and my brother were yankin the ole Z6 out my old car today with the temps starting in the low 30's and as the hours passed, it dipped down in to the low 20's high teens. The garage door had to be open the whole time so we could work and the wind was blowin hard. Crap we were cold. Well I was mostly. When we got done, the cold finally got to my brother. He was so in the zone before he didn't notice. Thank god the heater in his 4Runner is wicked hot. When we left to head back home we were toasty. By the way Z6 refers to D16Z6. IE the motor. We were pulling the motor out of my old car and

I just "modded" my case or rather decorated it with a few little things. Did you spot the "mods"? First off the unmissable Honda Emblem. Pulled it off a 99 Civic Hatchback in a junkyard. Those other 2 things are just some badges (kinda like how military badges are with the pin and the lock) that I got in my Azumanga Daioh Volume 1 Special Edition DVD boxset. The mesh door is great. The holes were just the right size for the pins from the badges to go through. It's also just the right size for the wire I used to hold the Honda emblem on. Stupid stuff, yes, but I wanted to customize it a littl

I was able to return the computer to a usable state but it's still pretty messed up. I'm gonna have to take the computer back to this person and tell them to back up what they need and give it back to me to do a full format and reinstall. I've never had to deal with such a messed up XP machine before.

well I just started fixing a computer for someone. It would start but when you logged into an account after a few seconds the icons and the taskbar disappeared. It wouldn't respond to anything other than the power button. I did a repair install of windows upgrading it from SP1 to SP2 and still the same prob. I decided to put the hard drive in my Compaq as a slave and run AVG on it. Get this. 2 viruses and 308 Trojan horses. No frickin wonder the dern thing wouldn't run straight.

I once got $75 to reinstall windows and update it on someone's computer. That was frickin easy too.

never EVER stray......................from Newegg.com NEVER!!! If it's computer related, I either get it at Newegg or Amazon. Both are quick, cheap, and reliable. If it's DVD's or CD's, Amazon all the way. If it's car parts, Jeg's, Summit Racing, Password JDM, King Motorsports, and H Motors Online. King and H Motors are both Honda/Acura exclusives and Password JDM is primarily Honda/Acura with some for Nissan.

Went there came, came back, had 2 friends with me, we went to Best Buy and Suncoast, I bought 4 DVD's and I got my $40. I also borrowed a box set of DVD's from one of the friends before going home so I have plenty of anime to watch both on DVD and on my Computer for a while. I also found my Diploma and the title to my car when I got home. SO a pretty good day. I checked the tires. They were all low. They should have been about 32-33 PSI and one was at 25, another at 21 and the rest in between. I aired them all up to 33. I didn't need the oil it's still safe. There was no ice on the roads not e

remember, I bought a car with a swapped motor, not one with the stock motor in it. It's bound to have problems. the CEL thing is a common problem with swapping an Si motor into a hatchback. I've got the stuff to fix it just not the know how. All this car's problems are due to previous owner stupidity and are being fixed. I bought some oil but I don't think the car needs it yet. I'll have it just in case. I'll be checking the tire pressure and eventually sometime in the near future I'll be hooking a 10K Ohm Linear-Taper potentiometer on my ECU to get rid of that CEL. My Airbags are missing too

I'm getting 40 bucks just to carry some grilled chicken from Columbia, TN to Gallatin, TN. A one hour drive and a another comin back. From our store to the Gallatin one. A one hour drive and my friend is tagging along. We are gonna stop by Cool Springs on the way back to hit up Best Buy and Suncoast. Sweet I won't even use $10 in gas both ways. If I still had my old car not only would this trip be easier (Cruise Control) I'd use even less gas. This car's transmission is geared too close and the Check Engine Light is causing it run in Limp mode (80% efficiency instead of full efficiency). Check

I have an old set of Koss studio headphones that are my favorites. Despite their age they sound awesome. The covering on the cushioning is coming off but they still feel great too. I have one major reason why I love these headphones though. My grandfather. They were his. When he passed away, my granny gave these headphones to me. I always use them. I even bought another set of Koss and never use them. I continue to use the old ones. They were great for when I was without my car and had to sit in the Library at college with my laptop. I could crank the tunes (DragonForce, Pagan's Mind, QueensrĂ

Does anyone know what that car is? Huh? Huh? . .. ... .... ..... it's a 92-95 Civic Hatchback. I bet it still has the stock motor in it. Ricer. I'd like like to put a soft drink fountain in my car. That'd be cool. Someone pops their truck and has a plethora of subwoofers and I pop my hatch and there's a Coca-Cola fountain.

I guess e and my best friend are real friends, cause most of that mess applies with us with a few exceptions of things that just aren't applicable. (IE the crying one, neither of us cry, the party one, neither of us do parties, and the argument one, we've never had a fight over the 5 or 6 years we've known each other)

Wierd Randome Encounter With Another Person In Online Game
Honda_Boy replied to macmarauder's topic in Open Chat
People mess with me about my CS:S name all the time while I play (It is Honda Boy of course). I get some half wit that's about as sharp as a marble start dissing Hondas and calling them wussy cars with no power. I just tell him that's cheap, reliable, and unlike 75% of the mental midgets playing the game, I actually own a car. So what my car has no power, at least it smoke this guys moped any day. Even then my power to weight ratio actually equals a swift little booger. I can actually beat a Stock Mustang GT on a 1/4 Mile strip. Yes it only has 170HP (versus this dudes 10HP) but take into acco -
I don't want it bogging my system down. I'll stick with XP until I build another system. It's been runnin perfectly this whole time. I don't wanna screw it up.

again, this fellow has to be one of the best people I've met in a while. He, my best friend, and I all hang out regularly now at least once or twice a week (usually when I'm off cause their schedules are a little more free) and we pile up at someone's house (usually mine) and watch anime, eat, talk and just hang out. It's like I've known this guy forever. Hmm, ya never know who'll you meet sometimes. I bet my parents are happy that I'm a not always sitting up in my room alone. Used to, I never had many friends come over, nor did I go to friends' houses often but over the past few years I've ch

usually since I don't like driving 45 minutes to the Honda dealer to get filters, I just cruise on in to Slo'Reilly's and grab a Wix and a gallon of Mobil1. Run home, drive my car up on the ramps and let my brother take care of it cause I hate burning my self usually he's there when I need an oil change and he's changing his vehicles' oil too so he usually just does it for me. I can do it, I just don't like to.
-
Both my old Civic and My current Civic have only used 2 different oils and 2 different filters. Either Mobil1 or Royal Purple for oil and Wix or Genuine Honda filters.

hmmm I may need to get me one and a new PSU. I got an old eMachine someone gave me that had a fried, PSU and Mobo. Oh yeah I need a new HDD for it too since I used the one it had for another system. Time to make me a new Linux box to try out Kubuntu on.

yeah both socket A and socket 478 are rare. My preacher bought a pair of Socket A nForce 2 Ultra 400 boards not too long ago. Here's the link top where he got them. Biostar M7NCD nForce 2 Ultra 400 Socket A motherboard

since it's been unseasonably warm around here, demand for oil for heating has plummeted knocling 87 octane gas (regular) down to an average of $1.99. Guess who's the one compact driver with a high compression motor in these parts. It's $2.19 for me. My B16A2 requires 93 octane (premium) to run correctly. I'm not the only one in this boat but still B series and K series VTEC Honda/Acuras are rare in these parts.

a $750 compact car would look like an 88 Civic DX 4-Door I bet. not a bad lookin truck there. High fun potential for that thing. Kinda wish my 66 3/4 ton Chevy with a 350 wasn't such a pile. I kinda wish it was still mine if it worked right and didn't look so bad. It's my brother's now and he's tryin to sell it and the 78 1/2 ton.
