OK, an actual update to the car's progress. I have refitted the bumper today this time getting rid of one zip tie and no longer using side marker wire to hold up one side. I broke out 2 very pointy screws and grabbed a power drill and went to town. So now my bumper actually on right. Now my headlights look right and bumper looks right. It all fits close and tight instead of having huge gaps. I also added a carbon fiber lip to it. Unfortunately this lip has hit stuff many times and is cracked and busted up n a few places but it still looks fine. It looks so much better with the lip. It makes th

Standard USDM Front End for 1994 Standard USDM Front End for 1998 (this particular one is a Type R) JDM Type R Front end (this particular one is actually a USDM 95 LS with conversion like I wanna do)

That's exactly what I mean. That car in your pic has a JDM Type-R front end though with a body kit

I'm considerin another trade now. This time it's a more realistic trade and it'd be straight up, since both cars are worth about the same. HIs has what I want and mine has what he wants. His is a 94 Integra LS with a GS-R B18C1 engine swap (1.8L DOHC VTEC). It has all the power options and cruise like I wanted and he's wantin a swapped EG or EK hatch. i.e. my car is a B16A2 Swapped EK Hatch. This would be a pretty sweet trade cause I'll be getting a more powerful motor and all the power options (probably be just as fast as my hatchback since the hatch is lighter) but the car has some slight r

Audacity is great. I've used in creating my own ring tones, cutting out parts of a video audio track that I want, and I have used it to record and edit church services.

Windows Skin Not Being Retained After Restart
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Thanks TT. Finally quite bein lazy and did it. It works great and it's free . Even though it says it's for Server 2K3 is works in XP too. -
I got a good chuckle out of the engine hoist one......yeah......It kinda happened to my brother and me while removing the engine from my old car. Kept finding something new to disconnect/unbolt every time we tried to lift it, often lifting the car in the process.

you bought a NEW Ford and I bought a USED, abused, engine swapped (always trouble with a used swapped car), and previously wrecked car. It has also been involved in a basic hit and run (backed into). I have good excuses. Had this vehicle been completely stock and never involved in the number of accidents it has, it'd be a perfectly reliable vehicle. We were lied to when we bought this thing. There was an obvious wreck that had never been reported due to the mismatched bumper and busted mounts (we had a carfax but this accident didn't show up). We couldn't tell that when we bought it cause the

this motor has had at least 3 clutches. Maybe more. Since it's been in my possession, it's had 2. Shattered the ClutchMasters Stage 1 that was in it when the engine mount snapped. I replaced it with an Exedy Stage 1. Motor only has about 94,000 miles on it but this motor has been used for performance. That other was just an easy driven DD that was driven A LOT. As long as you take care of them, many Honda motors will last that long, particularly SOHC D-Series motors. But this Integra had a DOHC B18A in it (no VTEC so it was a little more simplified motor compared to mine). He took damn good ca

Owning a Ford.....Maybe? Only rust on mine is where the vehicle has been damaged in an accident and where the bumper mounts on the fenders are damaged. That's why I have new hatch getting painted and why I'm basically buying a new front end for this car.

not oil pressure issues with mine or else VTEC wouldn't engage. It runs partly off oil pressure. Good ole Honda Motor. It's been abused by previous owners but it's still fightin strong. Needs a new oil pan though. Again, previous owner abuse, current oil pan isn't the right one. Diff is worn out from apparently too many burnouts by the rice boy that was a previous owner. Hope you get your pressure issue fixed. 202,000 miles ain't bad, but I was almost considerin buyin a 90-93 Integra that had well over 300,000 miles on it and it was still runnin perfectly with no issues. (the thing went well

Windows Skin Not Being Retained After Restart
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
that's where I Disabled it from. when the lappy restarts, it treats the skin as if it was always part of windows. On the desktop if I let Style XP to start on startup at first the skin isn't present but then the Windows Please Wait thing shows up and few seconds later, the skin is reapplied. For some reason on the desktop the skin has to be reapplied while on the laptop it doesn't. What's the deal? They are using 2 different skins but I don't think that makes a difference since no extra skins appear on the list without Style XP on the desktop but they do appear on the laptop without it. *oops, -
Windows Skin Not Being Retained After Restart

anybody got any ides? -
the cheapest brand new one was like $90 or more on thehondapartstore.com and at the dealer, it was $130.
-
looky at what Honda_Boy picked up today for $60. Barely used oil pan with good fitting drain plug and all the bolts. Heck yeah.

I installed Style XP to change my PC's appearance. I found a theme I liked and downloaded. If I completely disable Style XP and restart my computer, my skin won't be retained but the color scheme will. It just goes back to windows classic. I right click the desktop and open the properties menu. I click the Appearance Tab. My skin is not showing up on the list. I turn style XP on and the skin magically appears on the list. On my laptop I installed the skin first but it wouldn't show up on this list. I installed Style Xp and it started showing up. I disabled Style XP but yet when I restart the c

hmm, I may have to drive up to Cool Springs and go to Sake (not the rice wine, it's the name of a Japanese restaurant, REAL Japanese, no them stupid Japanese steakhouses). I've been there once but that was a while back. My dad likes Japanese food. While he was in Zama, Japan for yearly or bi yearly or whatever training back some years ago (national guard), he signed up for a home stay with this one family so he and a few other guardsman with him got to chow down on some frickin real as it gets Japanese food. I still have 2 sets of chopsticks in my room he brought back from that trip. Within a

Well he seemed to show more interest in another car that too was a finished project (95 Integra LS with JDM Type-R front end, ITR block, B16A head, ITR internals and few other mods) plus I just don't want to leave this pile in someone else's hands unless they are serious about wanting a project. I'd still love to have that blue hatch but I sent a message to the guy and told him not to bother to come look at the car (it's a 4 hour drive for him anyway). I'm just going to keep ole Midori and try to at least get her half-way decent looking. Further on down the road when it gets alright looking an

nevermind about that car. The project continues. I've got more important things to worry about right now. I should be buyin a brand new oil pan with all the bolts and drain plug for $60 tomorrow. All I need to do is order the gasket and my oil leak issue will be solved. Then I get the differential and one belt that squeals every time I start the car replaced and my car will be mechanically perfect. Aesthetically, it will look like crap still and parts on the body will still be zip tied and hung by wire.
-
a car that's 4 years newer and a new project to start on.
-
hmmm, I love Japanese stuff (I'm even trying to learn to speak Japanese) but I don't know if I'm diggin the idea of raw fish or a lot of what's in sushi. There's other Japanese food I'll tear up but sushi ain't on my list.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! He's actually wantin to come take a look at my car. Holy crap. I may be in a new car soon. You are kiddin me. It's a dream come true. My dream Civic in reach.
-
Well, my project may come to an end soon cause I'm in search for a new vehicle. I realized that I'm in over my head with this car. I originally planned to buy or trade for an Accord for safety and comfort reasons. If I'm very lucky though, I can EASILY make an exception. I came across this car and if the guy is willing to trade then I can have one unbelievably clean and awesome car. teaser pic and and AND I just like the first picture, it wasn't blurry. It's a 1992 Honda Civic Si with a B18C engine swap and this car is in perfect shape. Plus the guy converted it to power windows essentially
