Hi all, I'll take a big cup of java. Wow. Have I been overdoing it. Sorry I haven't been around much. I think I got in over my head on a few projects. First my nighttime fun. My CD-Rom bit the big one, so I got a fancy DVD that does everything. Then to learn I need to get all sorts of programs to use it. Such as DVD Decipher, And WinDVD. just to name a few. Allot of learning going on with the new toy.... LOL And now the really big project. The city put the Basketball court next to me up for auction. And we picked it up for Three Grand. Had my tax's done a month ago,got enough back to plan a much needed vacation. Will be gone for a couple of weeks,going south for those 14 days. Mexico should be nice. Ahhhh! Mexico. Haven't been down there since my school days. Allot of good memories from those times. Wonder if I'm still 86 from that little canteena I used to like? Been almost 30 years. Should go down there and find out some time. But I'll almost bet they still have my pic. on the wall saying "DO NOT LET IN"..... LOL

And why is it, when your driving down the road. Some fool pulls out in front of you like hell itself is chasing them. And then drive half the speed limit??? Somedays, I can see where road rage comes from. Think maybe I should get me one of them jeeps the "Rat Patrol" used to drive on the show. Or maybe just a Kensworth to drive around....... But no. I see people treat them the same way. The world is full of fools. And their out there driving around with 5 cellphones and only god knows what else.......... And they always seem to be if front of me.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to check them out. And see what's what. Aside from the DVD part of it. The 4.gig of storage space on a disk will be nice.

Hi everyone. My CDr/rw just bit the big one. so I ordered the state of the art DVD player. It has everything to it. CDrom, CDr/rw, DVD+/- dual layer burning. As far as I know, it will do everything. (or so my area dealer tells me, (always pushes the latest and greatest cause he knows I'll get it)). LOL I have a good program for the CDr/rw. But now I will need some software for the DVD. If anybody can suggest some good software that will work for me, I will sure owe you one. Never had one (DVD), so this will be a new and exciting adventure. Thanks JSKY

I'm still around. I've been playing around with gimp2. trying to figure it all out. It is a good photoshop alternative program. But has allot one needs to learn to use right.
