Never heard of that problem before. You say after reboot all is OK? Possibly just a glitch. Sure it wasn't your mouse? I for one don't worry about typo's because I get DSYLEXIC sometimes too.....lol

Seems we all love Pete and admire his dedication, but he's beating a dead horse. I would like to see him migrate here. I for one trust him implicitly. He has a wealth of info and graciously shares it with all in need.

I have used it. It works good and like my AV, it auto updates which I think is nice. Only problem is it dont find anything cuz I keep this PC tweaked and clean....it's become an obsession. Seems like I spend a lot of time just SWEEPING and checking our PC's.

I started a page about 8 mo.s ago using a couple of the mentioned sites above, got to busy with work and lost all time (and reference material). Guess with this forum I SHALL SUCCEED!!!!...lol

As a member of the SWI forum and boot camp student, I think a pinned post with a list of the tools used would be helpful in this forum. Spybot, Adaware and HJT, as wonderful as they are , cannot fix all malware, spyware, and trojans. There are some tools out there that compliment these programs and need to be made known here. Probably wouldn't hurt to have a list of the QUALIFIED members,(those who have completed or are in training) who are able to read and offer repairs. I just burn the iso last night and more than pleased so far with Knoppix...it's cool

I just downloaded and burned the Knoppix ISO. I booted PC. Why has it taken me this long to find this....IT"S COOL! Question though...while I'm running from cd, how am I protected (adaware,spybot,firewall,and AV) do I have to reload these items or what. The icons do not appear on desktop. What security do I have, are they still running in background? I'm really impressed!
