Well apparently the card was on the fritz. Went and bought a new AGP video card/installed and we're back in business. But for a while there I was scratching my head.

Systemax Athlon 2000+, 1 gig ram (pc2700), radeon agp grahics, gateway 17" monitor....like I said systam been cadillac'n for at least 2 years and then suddenly won't work. I have had suggestions to reset refresh rate and dumping and reloading drivers. But that is strange because they both interchange with my wifes system and both work properly.

Sons system been fine for long time. Wed. he was on pc. Last night he tried to boot, but monitor wont display. Put his tower with wifes monitor and all is OK, put his monitor to her tower and all is well. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have encountered the same msg several times while using ff, i just reload anew and it seems to fix it for a while...I think its a glitch because I know my system is clean. But it has been since their last release that I've had this occur more.

You folks that have all these invites should give them to our troops overseas so they can stay in touch with their loved ones...I recall hearing that at G4/ttv. I have a compaq armada E-500 P III, I just wiped the HDD clean and want to run a knoppix CD . How do I get into the Bios to set it to boot from CD now that the HDD is clean. And it should run from the cd right?
