  1. "joy" To the world.........(almost time for Christmas carroling)
  2. I KNOW! I guess I haven't left all that angry driving behind me. I sure thought I did. I also know people (including me) can justify anything. Anything. I felt, at the time, justified. But it was stupid. I was willing to let the truck get in front of me even though I knew it would go much slower than I would have gone. So, why not let the jerkball in front too? He'd be stuck behind that same truck too. So, what difference would it have made? None. Hey, you're never too old to learn (or ... RE-LEARN ... since I thought I'd learned that lesson a long time ago). Nowadays you're lucky that the

Aunt Judy...........(I have no idea why that just came to me, especially because I don't have one.......might have something to do with the Vicodin I've been taking for

  7. That sounds wonderful! I'm putting it on my "want to visit" list.
  8. Thanks for the menu link. I'm taking a "Menu Planning" course now. It's one of the requirements of my recent endeavor to complete a Culinary Arts program at the local college and graduate. I'm in my second semester now. Anyway, we have to accumulate menus and cull what's good from them. Not really the actual recipes, but the look and feel of the menu. Then the final project is to create our own menu.
  9. "What were they doing in the kitchen to lose some hair...?? " That's exactly what I was thinking. Pretty disgusting, 'eh?
  10. Pei Wei Pei Wei is the little brother of the chain restaurant P.F. Chang. They offer fast Pan Asian food both in their restaurants and to go. The latter being their main source of income. Although I generally hate chain restaurants and the corporate way to food, I like Pei Wei. Their restaurants are clean and the food, although too heavily salted in my opinion, is very good. I have been buying their product for years. My last visit however, was a disappointment. I ordered two dinners and spring rolls to go. I brought the food home, reheated it, plated it and sat down with my partner for wha
  11. OK. I thought it's time to get some new discussion on this board. And being that I"m a foodie and a geek, I'm starting this new post. Here's the first post. Please keep then coming. Bon appétit.
  12. Choral.....(Beethoven's Ninth Symphony)........and it doesn't have anyting to do with Saint Bernards.
  13. Beethoven (Classical period composer)
  14. LOL Funny stuff. Actually I had a dog like that once, but he was ALL stupid.
  15. Zero. Nada. I'm by myself here this week. My poor S.O. is in Spain. I was sitting home reading all night and was surprised that the doorbell never rang. But when I just went to take the garbage out at 11:30 PM I saw the reason. The outside of the house was pitch black. Apparently my outdoor lighting timer broke. Oh well.
