I wrote a post here last year when Audible forced me to give them another $10 so that I could continue to be able to access the audio books THAY I ALREADY PAID FOR! As I didn't have time to download all the books that I had accumulated, I bit the bullet and paid the extortion. Well almost a year has past and I thought I better choose the remaining credits I had and download the books that I wanted. I had six credits left. When I went to download I now see that they changed a lot of the popular bestsellers to two credits instead of one. So I re selected the entries to stick with the one credit

well what I actually wanted to record are vcr movies that I have purchased from amazon. they are not home movies or tivo. is this possible? .....are there converters for this? thanks for the input. Sure. Analog out from the VCR to the analog in on the DVD Recorder. Video and audio. You have to do it in real time. Probably be easier to put the signal through a TV so that you can see what's being recorded.

And then I finally find the CORRECT remote control that my S.O. lost under the sofa cushions, again.

I bought a Lite-On LVW 511SGHC It's Dual Sided DVD R/RW-+ CD-R/RW-+. also plays MP3, AVI's, MPEG's and more. Paid abought $120 a year ago. I set it up to put alongside my TIVO that is always full with the intentions of recording DVD from the content. It has component, S-Video out and Composite, S-Video in. And of course alalog audio in/out. Should work fine along aside a VHS player. I just checked and it looks like it's been updated with a new model, but look through their website.

They said the snowfall predictions are still not finalized but look heavier than normal.
