John, there is 1 OTL log missing that i need !! OTL.txt is the one i need ! Top line will will say OTL logfile created on: Try running Malwarebytes again so we can see if it quarantined those pups it found !! So i need the: 1. OTL txt log 2. Malwarebytes log Chuck Malwarebytes ........... i want to make sure it Quarantine's those found !! If it does not work this time delete/remove it & download & run it again. Hi John, run this insted of Malwarebytes !! Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop. Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version. That is because it did not finish updating before you tried a re-boot. Let it run a while 1/2 hour and try another re-boot ! If that does not cure it you will have to do a System Restore for a day before this started !! Chuck

Hey Pat, you can add the bara9sa0 if you want, i added the favorites bar, go to the 3 dots in top right corner > then to settings, choose the bar you want & toggle it on !! Did you notice the Mark or type on a page & send it to anyone ?? Chuck

UnZip WinsockFix.zip (Pay close attention to where the file is extracted to, the desktop is fine or your hijackthis folder or my documents as you can delete it when done) 3.) Run WinsockFix.exe. 4.) John have you tried going direct without the router ? How about a different wire (connecting) to computer ? Did my idea make any difference unplugging it & waiting 5 minutes ?? Not thinking it's the computer but like i said run the logs above for me. We don't use HJT anymore it's not giving the material other programs do !! Well i don't think that was your problem but if you want to clean it up & get rid of any junk laying around, let's do it ! I clean mine every 6 months just to keep it free of anything i might pick up doing logs !! So if you want run the AdwCleaner & the Junkware Removal tools & post the logs ! Chuck
