I did not have to replace the motor,but I did need to replace the head after it cracked. That ford had a 4 banger with a 3spd transmission am radio and 260AC.

All I can tell you about the Metros is when you wear one out you drop it in your trash compactor and set it on the corner for pickup. (Side note to me for "B" need a thumbs down smilie) The fuel milage is good depending on the options AE:AC on a 4banger is a bad idea because they can suck the power down,making it is hard to pass quickly. Most V6's get good fuel milage and have good power output with all options.
