  3. You know, that is actually one of the downsides to no longer grabbing every upgrade: I can't help anyone any more! It started slowly, aside from the questions I would never have known the answers to anyway came a question here and there about a version I didn't have. Then more of them, and more, and, now, here I am, utterly useless. Go back people! <you don't want vista ... you don't want vista ... you don't want vista ...> Unless there is a change in the situation, I plan on upgrading to it in mid 2009.
  4. Very Nice. Thanks Marty.

  7. Update all drivers, and check your RAM. Alos, this could be caused by spyware, a bad ActiveX control in Add-ons, a badly behaving toolbar or other issues with IE itself. Start by doing anti-malware scans, deleting ActiveX controls in Manage Add-ons (necessary ones will be recreated when using the program), uninstalling toolbars one at a time to see if one of them is the problem. You might need to repair IE.

  10. I would just add that when starting a session, hook up the modum first, and then after you see that the icons in your bottom right tray show that your software firewall anti-virus and are running, then hook up the router.
  11. I tried it. But it doesn't work for me. I disabled all the programs but the the memory reference error still occur. Shall I disable all the service too? What should I do now?
