  1. that was a very broad answer, well if all you want is a broad suggestion then just get the biggest screened PowerBook that you can afford with at least 1 Ram and HD upgrades.
  2. to bad that they don't have one for Mac, and i've already got the PCs running folding for Cancer research.
  3. well it depends, what exactly will you primarily be using it for? the iBook is designed more for regular use for a regular user, the PowerBook is designed more towards professionals. Final Cut Pro, ect? also what is their budget?

  6. yeah it weird, i'm finding alot of mixed reviews about them. you either have no trouble and get a stable fast connection or you got crap and the support sucks. those of you californians that can get roadrunner and such are luckier than me. everyone around here is paying twice the price for half the service and speed.
  7. you guys are right, it's not costing me anything so i'm just going to leave it up but i'll take down the tech support and leave it as a chit chat place just in case we need it. i still feel like starting up a board thought.
  8. i was going to leave it up till the end of the week and then just delete it. but i feel like keeping it up and using it for something. any suggestions?
  9. thanks for the help guys, i was so pissed last night at earthlink that i wasn't thinking straight. i got every thing squared away but i still need to change ISPs soon. so far the best deal in my area is with Adelphia but that's a promotion that just ended so who know what it'll be after december.
  10. it's been going down a couple of cents every couple of days now for a few weeks. down to $1.95 it's freaking me out! maaaan!.!.!.!
  11. sorry but i'm very very frustraighted right now. i've had lots of trouble with Earthlink.net and i just had the last straw. i'm paying way to much for crappy service and slow speeds. i'm not having much luck finding one for under $50 a month with a good record. if this was San Francisco i'd be paying $20 a month for the same thing. any suggestions. DSL or Cable in Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903 Mac OS X 10.3 still got DSL modem and i know that i should know this but i'm so pissed right now my brain is fried. what the heck is OS reliant on a DSL line. i don't need any controlling software ex

  13. yeah we found him again. it's that bozo that hacked his own computer while threatening hacker in a chat room.
  14. whaaat? can't they just make the fish jump right into the boat and prep themselves for dinner yet? your like the terminator to the fish with that watch. (puts on sunglasses) (bends down and looks at the water) "i'll be back" (cue music)
  15. yeah i just haven't written that part yet, sorry. and forgive the spelling too, i slapped it together and it's about 20 pages crammed to together. and the spelling, well you know me, i'd misspell God if it wasn't doG spelt backwards.
  16. ok this is getting weird. now i'm really worried, this is the first time in my life that i saw gas prices go down during a holiday. ever! has anyone else ever seen gas prices go lower during a holiday?
  17. this is a very shortened version of one of the chapters of my secret book, only BestTechie knows. this is about the main character and yes there will be religions, yes there will be multiple beings with god like powers. there are other things too, most of which you've never seen in mixed with religion. like aliens for example. like i've stated before i already plan on spending years writing it and maybe even a life time or two but the world may never be the same after i'm done cause all that i write about in the book is possible and even true. my second favorite part is a believable explanatio
  18. just to elaborate and emphasize on what JDoors said. DO NOT PLACE FIX-A-FLAT IN THE MICROWAVE AND HEAT! it has been known to release demons and or a portal to the 5th ring of HELL.
  19. it loaded pretty fast for me. http://www.zefrank.com/annie/navigation.html
  20. OOoooo!!! a hot pocket. you could be like me and have a turkey tv dinner, i cooked mine in the oven and treated it just like a turkey. yep i even basted it too.
  21. Do not overlook that the Fix a Flat is designed to be a temporary fix at best. It contains propane as a propellant and a liquid rubber compound which solidifies on contact with oxygen. It is not strong enough to make a permanent patch, only to seal around a nail or similar long enough for you to get it properly patched. Make sure to warn the repair shop that you used fix a flat so they make sure the employee who lets out the air is not smoking (propane has a nasty habit of exploding when it comes in contact with a hot cigarette or source of open flame). yes exactly, also one time i used fix
  22. do you have a dream, a life long goal, something that when you think about it your heart aches for it? please feel free to share it with us. there are very few things in life that i want myself, but they are to find a true love and i've been building this one invention in my head since i was a little kid. if it every works it would change the world. kinda like how the semiconductor is what made modern day computers possible and are a part of almost everything around us.
