I found this article, it gives a howto on setting up your Linux box for DST. running this command as root will let you know if your clock is set-up properly. # zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007 My boxes check out as okay, I'll find out on Sunday:-) linkage

Yeah, that should work shanenin:-) A tech friend of mine loads XP images that way from a laptop. I'll be curious to hear how it works out for you:-) -

There are no scratches. All the disks are completely brand new and spotless. Sometimes the install stops at disk 2. I don't know what else to do. You could try the disks on another computer. If the disks work and install properly then you know there's nothing wrong with the disks (then you've eliminated the possibility of bad media). If the disks install properly then that may indicate that there's a hardware issue on your computer.

I like the fact that Dell is starting to certify their hardware as Linux ready. That is, their boxes will work on multiple versions of Linux. I share iccaros's confusion, marty. How is it unethical for Dell to start to invest money into Linux? This is a good thing:-)

Ie7 Not Listed In Critical Updates
hitest replied to shanenin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Agreed. IE7 is a royal pain in the butt. When I started using it it somehow set my security level so high I couldn't even download updates from windows update. I use FF, Opera, or SeaMonkey on my Windows boxes. -
I particularly like Jack, he's the ultimate outsider, living completely on the edge, almost, but, not quite careening out of control. Sutherland is very enjoyable to watch:-)
