I just noticed in my gmail account that it will allow you to re-direct up to 5 pop mail accounts to your gmail account. I'm not sure if it would let you re-direct yahoo mail to gmail though.

This is my main work station. This is why I love Slackware Linux, you can take an older PC and breathe new life into it. This unit works very well for me.

BELIEVE it or not, These are REAL 911 Calls! Dispatcher: 9-1-1 What is your emergency? Caller: I heard what sounded like gunshots coming from the brown house on the corner. Dispatcher: Do you have an address? Caller: No, I have on a blouse and slacks, why? ________________________ Dispatcher: 9-1-1 What is your emergency? Caller: Someone broke into my house and took a bite out of my ham and cheese sandwich. Dispatcher: Excuse me? Caller: I made a ham and cheese sandwich and left it on the kitchen table and when I came back from the bathroom, someone had taken a bite out of it

Very cool, Marty!!! That made me smile

I like Fedora, but, I like Slackware more. I would use Debian again, but, I've had Etch become unstable on me a few times after running apt-get. So, Slack is it for me:-)

Yes, Kubuntu allows you to install Thunderbird, Marty:-) Look for a program called Adept ( in your system menu, I think). Adept is the KDE version of Synaptic. You can use Adept to download, install TBird for you:-) Edit, added later: You can also download, install the Tarball directly from: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/

Before you install Suse, do your homework, Marty. That is, make sure all of your hardware is supported by Suse. Go to their website and check their hardware data base or go here to check out your hardware: http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/index.php/cat/5

Hey Marty:-) Suse would be a good choice for you, as it does a good job of setting up a dual boot system for you. I've read that Open Suse 10.2 is quite good.
