No I have not set-up an e-mail server, like you I run a web server. I hope the link gives you a good starting point in getting your e-mail server up and running. The experts here can provide you with further information if you need it. Good luck in setting up sendmail. Merry Christmas, Honky Buzz!

Tequila Christmas Cake Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup brown sugar Lemon juice 4 large eggs 2 cups flour Nuts 1 bottle tequila 2 cups dried fruit Sample the tequila to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the tequila again. (To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.) Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup...just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs

Hi Joe and Brian, In my opinion I think it is best if we let this issue drop. You have both expressed your opinions very well. However, yesterday an Admin (Dragon) asked both of you to refrain from verbal sparring. I understand the need to get the last word in a debate, but, this is heading towards fighting. Gentlemen, please, let us stop this. Thank you:-)

well no wonder the dam thing didn't work...hahaha thanks well since I already have a copy of nt 4.0 I guess I could throw that on one of my other machines. anyway I got another machine out in the shop that has 128 megs ram...I'm still looking ....thanks for all the info. We are pleased you're getting interested in Linux. I like windows 2000, it is good software. But, my favorite software is Linux. Linux rules:-)

The project started in earnest in '98. It's slowly approaching compatibility with WinNT 4.0 with a bit of W2k and WinXP thrown in. Application compatibility seems to be fairly good considering its current state and there's some support for NT drivers. Sweet. Thanks, jcl! I run a dual boot with Ubuntu 5.10 and Win 2000 Pro, it might be fun to try ReactOS out. I haven't heard of too many live Windows CDs. Cool.
-
Interesting, I've never heard of ReactOS. Has ReactOS been around for awhile, jcl? I'm glad Bearskin is becoming interested in Linux. later, hitest

Knoppix is good. The unit with 128 MB of RAM should run Knoppix just fine. Here are the specs for running Knoppix: What are the minimum system requirements? * Intel-compatible CPU (i486 or later), * 32 MB of RAM for text mode, at least 96 MB for graphics mode with KDE (at least 128 MB of RAM is recommended to use the various office products), * bootable CD-ROM drive, or a boot floppy and standard CD-ROM (IDE/ATAPI or SCSI), * standard SVGA-compatible graphics card, * serial or PS/2 standard mouse or IMPS/2-compatible USB-mouse.

Hey bearskin, What type of Live CD are you using? We can suggest a different version for you.

Hi Joe, I would also like to offer my apologies for reacting too quickly with my comments regarding this political issue. I'm looking forward to the new political forum starting up. Brian Holiday, good to see you back here again. The Admin team is here to listen to your concerns.
