Ok, within the next month I should have my new hatch painted. After finally getting it back from my friend that was gonna paint it for free but never did, I talked to someone else I know (sort of) that has all the necessary equipment. He says he'll do it for around $75 to $100. I know him simply as GreyDel and he lives about an hour from me. He's got a paint booth, spraying equipment, all kinds of auto body stuff, you name it. Only thing he doesn't have is something to bake dry the paint so he just lets stuff air dry. Since he's a certified pro and vouched for by others I know, I totally trust

Hmm, last I looked it was like 3.07 for 93 but my car has been gettin killer gas mileage on this tank (lotta highway drivin) so I'm not sure what it is right now. Been pullin off approx 30-33 MPG this time around. That's great for a B16A2 engine/tranny with a Check Engine Light (still for the same thing, something that this car doesn't have that the car the motor came out of did).

I understood Welcome to Germany but not the rest. Actually I Google translated it . My dad told me what you said in the past many times so I knew that one. Google mistranslated it. I know tiny bits of German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Swedish (very very little of Russian and Swedish). I know some words and a few phrases in Japanese and can even make a few coherent sentences such as introducing myself like in my sig. Anyway. Danke, Merci, Gracias, Arigatou Gozaimasu, and I have no clue what Thank you is in Russian or Swedish. Like I said, I know VERY little of those 2.

Hmmm, lemme take a crack at translation Welcome to Germany. We hope you enjoy your stay. You just called yourself a sandwich if I'm not mistaken but that's the joke.

Got a garage ready for Midori (my car) at the new place yet? Cool, BT has his own server now.

Thanks. Yeah she is crazy. In fact, in that particular pic, Shion (that's her name) is in the long process of going murderously insane, killing people to "avenge" the loss of the boy she had a crush on. She's watching one girl, who was trying to stop her with a drug but ended up having the drug shot into herself by Shion, stab her self in the neck with a knife trying to kill herself before the drug does worse. Don't worry the girl that kills herself comes back. The world constantly rewinds and things happen differently. It's a huge mystery that the viewer, even though witnessing most of the mu

well there. I changed my avatar. This one was my old Honda-Tech and TennSpeed one. I use 2 different ones on there now. This is my current TennSpeed one and this is my current Honda-Tech one (Nani? is Japanese for What? said in surprised manner usually in anime) *well I had to clear my cache to see my new avatar on here

I guess I need to clean up a few things for spring. My main hard drive is overflowing with anime. I need to break out a bunch of DVD's and start burning them so I can clear up some room. I'm thinkin I'm changin my avatar soon. Have a nice new one for spring. I've been usin the same one since I joined on here. I'm tryin to decide though. I may just use the same one I just switched to on TennSpeed. Maybe a different one to diversify.

well sorry I haven't been around much. Been out with friends a lot recently and TennSpeed and Honda-Tech forums take up a lot of my forum time. Haven't had any computer issues in a long while either.

"Frustration is trying to find your glasses without your glasses." Oh boy don't I know it. Happened to me the other morning before school. First tie I lost my glasses in ages. I have extremely bad eyesight (pretty sure I'm not too far from being legally blind without my glasses) and boy finding those thin frames (designer Eddie Bauer frames, so yeah, THIN) with as bad as my nearsightedness is was a challenge.

well scuse me but my synthetic Mobil 1 5w-30 is black as coal after 3000 miles so that's what I've always done. *Remember my car may be 11 years old but the motor is only about 7-8. This motor since it's newer ain't as bad but my 95's motor which was original was even worse so it definitely needed to be changed every 3000. Also the 3000 miles thing is for true babiers. Most of the people on Honda-Tech and TennSpeed change their oil every 2500-3000 miles to ensure their motors last as long as possible.

start brushin up on car maintenance to make sure that thing lasts you a long time. Man everyone around me is gettin new cars. One of my good buddies just got an 07 Altima bout a month or 2 ago. He got a 2.5S with the little extras package so he got alloys and a moonroof. I wish someone would get me an 07 Civic Si or an 06 RSX Type S. Nice ride man. I like it but the auto shifter I don't like. Ha! Ever since going from the "Retard Auto" 85 Sunbird to a stick shift Civic, I gotta have a clutch pedal and shifter that doesn't have Park or Drive. ("Retard Auto" refers to how poorly the car shifted.

that's what I figured. I thought it was a bad disc at first but it worked fine on my laptop and desktop but not her laptop. Then I thought possibly bad HDD cause the last time I saw that error was when my hard drive went bad a few months ago. Well It passed all the tests and showed no signs of failing so I thought maybe DVD drive. So you think so too. Hmmm, I guess I'll have to help her buy and install a new drive. (Dern crappy Dell laptops. She got hers new and it's fallin apart and I bought an HP used off eBay that is runnin so solidly that I can't believe it's an HP)

My wanted some of my fansubbed anime so I burned them to a DVD with DivX and the Combined Community Codec Pack on it too. Well she isn't exactly a computer genius so I had to help her with the installation and transfer. It seems that the CCCP installed fine and we never attempted to install DivX since the CCCP comes with Zoom Player. I tried to transfer the video files and they fail every time saying that there is a Cyclic Redundancy Error. I ran the Power Max or whatever it's called from Maxtor to check if the hard drive is bad. It says it's fine so I try the disc in 2 of my computers and the

Ha! I'm actually itchin to drive my car right now. I'm actually going to go fill it up just as an excuse to drive.

This was the tutorial I "followed" for this. I used 2000 Grit auto sand paper, turtle wax rubbing compound and McGuire's Scratch X. I also had a power buffer on hand. Wetsanding Headlights Tutorial on My IS Forums No I am not a member of this forum.I can't afford no Lexus IS. A fellow TennSpeed member gave me the link. He does have an IS300.

Headlights restoration attempt. Passenger side looks great but the driver side one could stand to go through the whole process again but I ain't doin it anytime soon. Driver Before: Driver after (hey check it out, it's TJ monkeying with his bike in the background): I only have an after of the passenger side: and some shots of Midori sittin in her parking spot afterwards.

not really. The way to achieve the best results is to wet sand them with about 2000 grain sand paper and then use some Plastic X or something on them. They look close to new. Speakin of which I need to take my car somewhere and have the windshield treated. So many little nicks here and there. Them little nicks really make seeing hard with a passing truck at night.

well like I said, many manufacturers wire the fogs straight into the parking lights now so you have no choice as to have them on or off. Half the time, these vehicles are big ole trucks or SUV's and they are blinding to little ole Hondas and Nissans. My fogs are really low to the ground and light up areas where my headlights should light up. Basically I have as much light now as my dad's Tacoma. Due to much of the crud on the headlight lens, the light doesn't get everywhere it's supposed to and the fogs fill in that area and then some. I'll admit yeah they are wide boy are they ever. But it's
-
actually my visibility of the road was extremely poor at night (headlight housings in very bad shape) before these things. They are low so they don't blind anyone, I mean I passed a Lexus last night with bright yellow fogs too and they didn't blind me. In fact many cars have the fogs wired into the parking lights (out of the factory no less) and all them are friggin trucks and that is blinding in a low set Civic. I'm not trying to be a butt hole it's just with the poor condition that my plastic headlights are in, these glass fogs really help me see on roads with no street lights. Actually come

Arigatou Minna!!! (Thank You Everyone!!!) I had a fun birthday. We had a comedy day at church, I got some nice car stuff, went shopping with my friend and chowed down at a Japanese restaurant. Thanks!!!
-
HA despite being an utter pile of crap, my car got nominated for Ride of the Month (May) on TennSpeed.net. I nominated a guy from the next town over. Saw him out yesterday. I doubt I'll win but apparently one guy on there loves my car and is tellin people to check out my garage on the site. Cool!!
-
And time for night time pics......in my back yard. Wish I knew someone with a DLSR and photography skills, and I wish I knew of a nice parking lot to do this at (that has lights of course)

yeah, they were my main birthday gift. That and a set of tools, a roadside emergency kit, and the DVD of Cars. Then I went and bought some anime DVD's later in the day with my friend, then my parents, my friend, and I all ate at a Japanese restaurant. Fun day. Now I have a Best Buy gift car which my bro gave me today after I got done installin my fogs. I had 2 friends of mine help. They did most of the wiring while I mounted the fogs. Ended up with 4 people in my driveway other than me by the time we got done. My 2 friends that were helpin me, then my friend from down the street and her sister
