The problem is that NAV does not show me what the file that was detected is, nor does it tell me where it is, so disinfection of this is impossible at this time. However, the NAV information says that the Bla block rule blocks the intrusion, but I want to eliminate the trojan entirely - Is there another program that I can use to detect it, and delete it? Or is there a way to force NAV to pick it up and show me the file name and location??? Just a quick question: Is there a way to STOP windows/ie from displaying the "No connection to the internet exists" box when you try to surf to sites? My weather has been unseasonably warm here in VT. On Friday, Montpelier VT hit 54 degrees F. and for like a week it has rained or been warm enough so that most of the snow is gone. DSL Here: LOVE it: I have Emmanuel. I have downloaded the MS Anti-Spyware From Microsoft and recommend it for everyone's machines. Download and keep this thing updated - I let mine scan on both Defiant and Emmanuel at 2AM and it has been a good thing. To date, it has taken care of some of the baddies, including CoolWWWSearch.WCADW and Windows.ActiveDesktop. on Emmanuel. What I had to do with these infections is to run Antispyware, have it determine that there was a problem, then reboot to safe mode with Internet, run updates for Spybot S+D 1.4, and let it scan and delete any baddies.
