My resolution is to get through the next year without being in pain every day. I'm putting a moratorium on the doctors and chiropractors. They don't work. I'm going to try physical therapy and more exercise. Also, I'm going to try to get back in contact with my totally dysfunctional siblings. Which will probably cause enough stress to send me back to the doctors and chiropractors.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Tymekiller. I just read an article in the local rag here about the recent increase in gun crimes in Canada. That is really scary. Canada used to be a beacon of sanity, unlike the wild west mentality down here (where you can buy a gun at the local dept. store) and shooting someone is an accepted method of conflict resolution. Sure. But you'll no longer be updated.

You have to be careful with the large manufacturers like Dell and HP. A lot of them use proprietary motherboards and power supplies. Some of the Dells, for instance, wire the power supply / motherboard connector differently than standard. So although the connector would fit, plugging in a proprietary PS to a standard motherboard (or visa versa) would cause damage. Hence.....change both a the same time to standard models.

Thanks for the link. I've been paying for these morons calling me for years. The reason is that I've had a business landline and had to forward it to my cell phone. So I would get twenty calls a day from lowlife solicitors. The only advice I have is to hang up on them immediately, maybe after offering a brief bit of profanity. I did list my home number with the federal do not call list. After that I received MORE calls. I'm of the opinion that the gov't sold the information to the solicitors. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
