Yeah, it should work well. I bought mine at Fry's, paid $50 and at the time thought I got a good deal. But you know how that goes. The company that makes most of these is PPA-USA As you can see from the link, they also make Usb 2.0/ Firewire enclosures. That's what I got. Good luck with it. Joe

I'd like one, but won't sleep over not having one. Seems like the logical thing to do. If some people can't handle disagreements, don't go there. One site I visited recently has seperate sections for different orientations. For instance, there's a section just for liberal discussion and a seperate section for the right wing types. Good luck with the biz! Laptops are NOT easy to find parts for. I've been trying to locate a video card for my Inspiron 8200 for 3 days. I dealt with an idiot from Dell Parts today and had to take 3 tylenols afterwards. I'd been better off talking to my cat. Anyway, try Parts-People. And as mentioned, Ebay. But most parts on Ebay are NOT cheap unless you really hunt, and they are used, usually pulled from "working" laptops. So you'll never have any warranty after a week or so. Good luck. Joe
