No doubt, where would the human race be without all the different types of poop?

Thanks, really reassuring to someone about to go to Japan! I am never going to get in one of those chairs, now. Or maybe they just do that to men? hehehehe

But look on the bright side of drinking water - poop is not all that bad for us anyway...

Hmm. Would rather have the ostrich.

Hmm, get it where you can. I have been busted before twice by people who "used" work for my Father. Nope, no ticket. I know it is cheating, but like I said, you take what you can get!

Mine looks different, of course, but Run Command is towards the bottom, between Printers and Faxes and Scroll Programs. 7 lines from the bottom.

LiXindi replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Yep, reformating worked. Now it is only restricting 4MB. I will remember that next time, and also only store files for short amounts of time. Thank for your help. -

LiXindi replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
My other 1GB shows 969 MB free when it is empty. OK, I can understand 6MB of unaccessible space per 1GB, but why is the other drive being so ding dong restrictive? Should I format it? thanks -

Toshiba Laptop-disable Power Saver, Other Services?
LiXindi replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I am not familiar with Linux. Can I run Photoshop, Dreamweaver and an Office Suite? I have MS, Wordperfect and Works. I am open to trying other comprable programs. I did not like GIMP though. Because I am so clueless about other OS, I would like to stick with XP. But, if other OSs are simple, I could give that a try. What would you suggest, bearskin? Thanks also for the link on OpenOffice. I guess nothing is totally secure. -

LiXindi replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP

France will win. But Italy is scary.................

Toshiba Laptop-disable Power Saver, Other Services?
LiXindi replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I have the original cds that were sold with the machine. There are 3 Toshiba recovery cds, including applications and drivers. I feel that if I use these cds, all of the Toshibaware will be stuck right back on the dingdong thing. -
I have acquired a used, three year old Toshiba Satelite 1415 notebook. The previous owner used it only for email and Spider Solitaire, and has made no adjustments whatsoever to it... Toshiba has been "kind" enough to provide many Toshiba services, including Toshiba Power Saver, which disables the Power Options (via Control Panel). How do I disable this? When googling it, I found that it could not be done... Yet I am still hopeful. Also, how can I determine which Toshiba processes I can avoid using without damaging the functionality of the device? It seems like half of the running processes are

Is there a way to lock my folders in to always showing the same properties of the files and folders inside? I want all of my folders to always list the file size and bit rate, etc.
