  3. My PC was on all night last night. This morning, it had a BSOD. The thing told me to restart the PC, and when I do, it seems to be loading up and then all of a sudden, the screen goes blank and the case starts making quiet noises... "rev rev rev rev" pause "rev rev rev rev" This is the first BSOD on this computer. I believe the BSOD error mentioned something about a kernel, but I cannot remember exactly what and I now cannot reproduce the screen. EEK. Help? Thanks

  6. How do I make an image become bigger on the same page by clicking on the image? I have tried to read the source code on pages where I have seen this feature, but I have not been able to determine the HTML for that. I have a table of small images and I want to be able to click on the images to make them larger on the same page, and then click the image again to reduce the image back to the small size. Like a toggle effect. Any ideas? I am using HTML in Dreamweaver to make this site. Thanks for the help!

  8. Hey guys. I use The Firefox. I love The Firefox, except for one thing. The google search box on my toolbar. It stares at me. Constantly. Taunting me with its unremoveability. Is it possible to remove that dingdong Google search from my toolbar? Help. Thanks ever so, Li Xindi
  9. Hey, Thanks for replying - I really appreciate your help. Yes, I have changed both of those settings to read "I LOVE YOU", and my paths are still saying "MY NAME." Maybe it has something to do with when you are first registering the computer - it IS a Dell... When logging on to my Windows, I can click the "I LOVE YOU" user name - it is the main user, and I can see it on the screen, but whenever I read my path names, "MY NAME" is all over them. *sigh* Thanks for all of your input.
  10. Thank you. For expressing sympathy and for welcoming me to the boards. I am looking forward to learning a lot from these boards.
  11. I am sorry about not responding - I had to go out of town for a funeral. Thank you for your advice. I have already done that, but whenever I am saving a document, the path always reads: C:\Documents and Settings\MY NAME\My Documents. I would like to change the part where it says MY NAME. I do not know if this is assigned through Win or just the way my computer is registered. This happens no matter where I place the file, My Documents or any other folder. I would like the path to read: C:\Documents and Settings\SOMETHINGOTHERTHANMYNAME\My Documents. Do you have any ideas? I sure don't! Thanks
