Flatiron
Amazing Falling Woman This is so different; it's going to travel the internet like crazy! When she gets stuck, left click and drag her free.....Someone did an amazing job with this. I know two things about him: 1. This is a geek with too much time on his hands. 2. This geek knows how to model physics. Check it out. I'm impressed: http://www.izpitera.ru/lj/tetka.swf

Chappy
That was probably done in Maya, I've worked with Maya somewhat and this can be done with that program. Its cool, you can make a figure and add bones and joints to it that simulate the proper movement of the limb, then add motion and voila. That is a really neat little swf, she takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. blim
My son found that game somewhere a couple months ago....It sure is fascinating. And I don't see it degrading to women at all, Flatiron. I think the artist used a female form because females are more flexible and graceful (but I wish she would point her toes!!! OK, too many years in gymnastics)Liz
