Unbanned At "that Place"

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!!

This is my absolute LAST post about that other place, but I thought many of you may find this rather interesting.

I have been UNBANNED at GWhore....I mean four..;)

Go figure eh...I thought I was Perma-Banned for life, for my little...ahemmm.."indiscretions"

:whistling:

Will wonders never cease!

Not that I have any intentions of ever going back there, but it may come in handy someday.

Later Y'all

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Cool, good news Chappy! :D I'm very happy to hear that!

Well, it lasted longer than I thought it would. I honestly thought it would be deleted that night. Then again, I thought they would all be in bed asleep, since that is what one said Chappy did.

I don't hate Chappy. He made a mistake & he paid for it by being Demodded. He knew the rules of being a Mod & he chose to ignore them. Sad to see this end this way, but he only has himself to blame.

With that said, none of this has anything to do with the purpose of this forum so it's getting the lock. It's time to move on with this.

I wonder if everyybody over there will be as happy this time next year. Only time will tell.

Probably my fault for bumping the thread up, off of page 4 or 5 or so, today. Sorry about that.

But I wanted the members that hadn't seen it to get a chance to read it. I sort of figured it was going to be allowed since a couple of others were. Sigh.

G$ still doesn't get it that communication is where their biggest problem is, and then they try to stomp out anyone that does try to communicate. Sigh.

Pat.

God bless everyone.

Pat, you little Rebel, you!!! I'm glad you did bump it up, and those were great posts!! I don't think it was your fault. I just think they left it up for around 24 hours for most to see and then locked it, and I think they planned it that way.

Thanks to Tman and Iceflyer for posting Chappy's message!!!

By the way, Iceflyer's and Jsky's posts are still open....

Liz

I was afraid that everybody would not know what Iceflyer and JSKY's post contained.

I wanted it to be in the open so nobody could say it was buried too deep for people to know it was there.

A person with "Honor" will do the right thing----even if it leads to their own destruction.

Chappy and Pete and others on this board have that quality as far as I am concerned.

The fact that they have unbanned Chappy shows who is right.

Sidekickcat, I would have bumped that post myself, but after I posted it I had another mini-stroke and lost some of my vision for a while. Everything is back to normal now. This is the fourth time in a year and a half.

Screi, I don't drink, but do you have a cold Diet Coke there?LOL

Thats terrible Tman, is it TIA's that you have?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think so. I had triple bypass heart surgery 9 yrs ago. I had a mini-stoke a couple of yrs ago and lost my speech for about 30 minutes. Now the sight problem is happening.

One Doc says it could be migrains, another says it could be TIA's.

Either way, you know how hard it is to find something that is intermittent. Sometimes you just have to wait until the problem becomes constant and then you have time to run test to find the problem.

Not going to worry about it until I need to worry.

By the way Chappy, I used to be on the vol fire dept back home. My father was Chief when he got it started. Later after he died I joined and became Asst. chief. There were only two of us at that time though. Later we got it built up to 30 members.

Us firefighters have to stick together.

Tman, listen to the doc who thinks its TIA!!! My Grandmother had those and they are funny things and hard to diagnose...she'd "visit LaLa Land" for a while and recover just fine. Docs thought it was due to her overworking in her yard (pushing her blood pressure up)--they happened every spring and fall. You take care of yourself, dear!!

Again, thank you so much for posting Chappy's letter at G4!

*here's a cold diet coke, but caffeine free, no need to raise that blood pressure!*

Funny how the HJT Logs aren't getting worked, the noobs are giving dumb answers to tech questions and Chappy gets unbanned........  Makes one say "Hummmmmm"

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

HAHA well I am not in the mood to do any right now and neither is dumbterminal. ;)

I am letting the Leoville fans flood in right now and sitting back and watching. I will answer a ? from someone who has been there for a while, or if I see a Leoville lover answer then I will go in and correct them

Anywho, welcome back chappy, I wonder how you got unbanned ....

I am so sorry that you are having such scary problems. Have they done some scans, cat scan, mri, etc? A friend was having momentary blackouts (non-drinker!) a few years ago, and they did scans, and found that it was TIAs. So they put her on medication to help prevent them. I'm afraid I don't know just what the meds were though.

Is your blood pressure way up there, all the time, or when even just these episodes happen? If all the time, then try eating 4 to 5 stalks of celery a day to reduce the blood pressure. Hubby and I have been doing that for several months, and both of us are down to nearly normal bps now, and that is with skipping eating it for days at a time due to being absent-minded.

But the other thing is have you checked with your eye doctor during this time? If not, then please do, as a neighbor was having what appeared to be TIAs a few years after he'd had a stroke and the Dr was treating it as TIAs, but it turned out to be macular (sp?) degeneration, with much bleeding behind the eye causing blood pressure to go up and he would pass out temporarily. The eye specialist said if he'd been treated for it right from start, they could have saved his vision.

I will be adding you to my prayers.

And thanks for posting Chappy's apology over there.

Now the thing for everyone to do is to just use 'openings' in threads there to give link to here.

I saw one at least who did that today on one of the few threads I checked out, plus I put one on FrankeeDoodle's thread. (he's the 80 year old who fell and broke bones on his BD in Feb, then couldn't get up stairs to his computer room to tell people how he was until March, then didn't post again as far as I could tell via search. Said today he'd been sick recently too). Anyhow he was expressing how it was sad to see Pete and Chappy and others gone, so I used the opening to invite him over here where the TTV and Tech Support refugees hang out. HaHaHaHa!!! Just the opening I needed to do a legitimate link.

Pat.

God bless everyone.

I've seen your posts with the links at the bottom, Sidekickcat!! Been checking to make sure Jsky's computer problems are being bumped regularly ;) Sigh, are we corrupting her, folks??? ;) Good job for recommending such a great place and for doing it in such a nice way!!!

Hi thesidekickcat, yes, I have had all the test done. Nothing like staying in the emergency room 4hrs,going thru all the test and then being told they couldn't find anything. After the second time of going thru all the test, I just said the heck with it after that.

After awhile it clears up. When it stays longer maybe they can find something. Right now on heart medicine, blood pressure medicine and blood thinner. All levels stay normal. So what else can you do? Not going to worry about it right now. Got a big birthday party to go to tomorrow.

I think the other place will eventually be just another show forum. This place is getting more like the old TTV board. I like the comedy forum. Remember on TTV after a post was answered and then someone would say someting crazy and it seemed like it would go on for 20 or 30 post of people kidding each other?
