tenmm
I have done the "If you don't like what I cook go hungry" thing. In this house I do 85-90% of the cooking(I did it pro for a couple of years).I have only one rule when I cook,"Keep out of my way"
irregularjoe
That's funny martymas. My S.O. qualifies for most of them.I am the cleaning nut in our house. As an example, she just put away six boxes of dishes and glasses that we had stored in the garage for the past four months while we were remodeling the kitchen. But she didn't bother to clean them.So I now have to take everything out, clean the items that my S.O. put in, and reclean the cabinets because of all the dirt that she imported. But she tries hard.Joe

rv56
Good one Marty.... For our house....my wife loves to cook...so I'm kicked out of the kitchen.. But she hates dishes...so I do clean up and dishes. She does laundry....I'm not allowed... ....something about a few sweaters that were not to be in the drier...and they could fit a barbie doll..so I'm nixed for that.I don't get the separating wash piles and which can and cannot be dryer dried....and yes I've tried.... But I do vaccumming and dusting.... I guess through the yrs. we have come up with a job share house keeping method which seems to work...
macmarauder
well i live alone in a house so i get pretty busy doing both sides. i do all the cleaning and cooking and laundry and such. but i still manage to loaf around a bit. sometimes i have to yell at myself to get off his lazy butt and cut the lawn or do a project on the honeydolist. blim
RV, your wife fires you from the occasional household job, too? Don't feel bad, its normal. I've fired Hubby many times before, but when we built the shed, he'd point to the house and holler, "out!!!" when my "is it plumb and level?" got on his nerves (because I could see it wasn't straight....geez) . Works both ways, I guess Liz
