After you get done with your reinstall go to MS updates and start the update process.

(they have updated their updater again <_< )

There will be a notice about turning on your auto update and how to get SP2.

Click the link for SP2 and it should start.

BTW do you know if your OS CD has SP1 on it??

Mine does so SP1 is installed by default.

I finally updated to SP2,it was kind of slow but I got it done.

One thing I will say is after I was done my PC was kind of slow, but after a day or so is it's old self.

you could also wait a little bit and order a SP2 CD, it may be easier.

It is somewhat easier, but at the sametime if you are on dialup it is way faster with the CD.

If you have DSL or cable then speed is not a real issue, after you download SP2 MS checks to make sure you recived good files/folders and then installs SP2.

So by doing the download then checking it and then installing it is kind of slow(depends on your PC)(3 steps).
