Think about it this way, all I did was tell him my concerns and ask him nicely to change it. And he did and apologize publicly. Technically he didn't have to but he did to be civil. I know that it is very annoying and scary for uninformed people but he didn't have to change it. Insulting jcl for saying isn't nice either. Maybe you should go back to school and learn some tolerance and curtsy yourself. smart asz school boys aren't the only problem on the G4 boards, intolerable people are the other half. OK but it's kinda hard to hold a camera still and a bowl of cereal to catch the milk at the same time. But I'll give it a try.

the last time I went camping I couldn't get a signal for my laptop and my antena wasn't powerful enough to get a signal strong enough. So I was actually trying to figure out how to attach a bunch of fireflies to a string and use them to boost my signal range. (covers face with hand and shakes head side to side) still wasn't enough power BTW.

I wish that there was some way to synthisize what makes this plae so great (the people here of course) and inject it into the G4 boards. But alas there isn't enough. We could always use the same plan as Jay and Silent Bob, go door to door to all the trolls on the G4 boards and beat them senseless. Ok maybe not ...... but it was an enjoyable idea. (shrugs shoulders) ehhh.

just wanted to say thank you to everyone who shared a little of themselves. I know it aint easy. I usually feel like the phantom of the message boards, hiding in the dark ends of threads. Hey B (nods head in a respectful maner towards B ) would it be possible to turn post counting off to anyone except your self? I mean no one would be able to see your post count except yourself. That way people that like keeping track of thier post count can and it's not public knowledge. So there wouldn't be much need for running up post counts. In the words of Tyler Durgen from the movie Fight Club. "you are not the car you drive, you are not how much money you have in the bank, you are not your freaking post count!" yeah he's running a little script in his sig that grabs your IP and what browser your using. I've seen others on other boards with this. I think only you can see it but still I too dislike it. I'm not too worried about it personally but I think it is a little too much. I don't think dknoppix means any harm by it and I'll PM him. So dknoppix if your reading this please check your PMs.
