I used to have a All In Wonder card and always had problems. I switched to a Kworld PCI card and haven't had any problems. You might try reinstalling the drivers or going to ati's website and see if there are updates. I agree with you that their software sucks. You can use almost any program (Roxio, Nero) to get video. The only drawback is that you don't get the TV Guide. Hoped this helped a little

I use Time Warner RoadRunner cable and I keep having problems. It will drop the connection 1-3 times a day. I do have my network secured. Let me tell you what I have done so far. 1) Had Time Warner come out (twice) and they say the connection is fine. They even switched the modem. 2) Tried using a second and third router. The routers were configured and worked but still lose the internet. The only thing I can do is unplug the modem for a 1-2 min. then plug it back in. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas?

o.k. My friend and I fixed the problem. The router's warranty had ran out so,we went to Walmart (drunk) last night and bought the same router. Then we put bad router in the box and returned it today and got her money back. Now everything is running fine. Some might say this is wrong but I say screw it

o.k., She says that they've had the Roadrunner out twice and they checked the lines and said everything was fine. The router has the latest firmware and I made sure nothing was causing interference.

I posted this on G4 but no ones responded yet. I'm at my friends place and she's having a problem with her wireless setup. The router loses the cable signal at random. And the PC that's connected wireless, keeps having to reconnect at random. She can always get back on line by pulling the plug on the router and reconnecting it. But she's getting fustrated. It's out of warranty. It's a Linksys WRK54G w/laptop adapter (bought from Walmart). Both PC's are running XP. Any ideas?
