And in case anyone is wondering, yes, he picked it all out himself, and did tons of research on it all to make sure everything would work for what I need and to make sure I got the best. (I got him, so yeah I got the best! :D)

I'll be using my current 80 gig Hard Drive, my monitor, mouse and keyboard.....not to mention all my current media drives as well.

Next weekend he will be coming over and we're gonna work together on putting it all together so we'll have something to enjoy and get to spend some time together. :D

My mother also gave him some money to put towards a video card for me, which he will be ordering this week, so we should still have it by the weekend. I am either getting the ATI 9600 All-In-Wonder, or the ATI 9600 XT All-In-Wonder! :D

  4. I have put a link and an ad on my site to BTs here. And have mentioned the boards to others on other boards. Yes we have some VERY good people here. Some of the old TTVs Best of the Best. It's not easy to find the ones who need the help and to get them here. But I think we are all trying to do that.

I have done the same as Jsky. I not only have a link to B's site on mine, but I also have mentioned this place to several people.

  5. you all know too much. please look here at this red light for just a second and I'll answer all your questions.

  6. It sure is possible! Here's how:

Click "My Controls" (This brings you to your personal "Control Panel" on the forum.)

On the left-hand side under "Options", select "Board Settings"

At the top, you should see "Time Zone" with a drop down list. Select your local Time Zone within that drop down list.

If you have daylight savings time in your area, be sure to check the box labeled "Is daylight savings time in effect?"

When you are done editing your settings, click the button at the bottom "Change My Account Options."

Now you should be able to view everything on the forum with your local time.

  7. yeah, I've experienced that problem several times as well. Sometimes it doesnt even tell you what type of plugin is needed. I know there's a site you can get the plugins manually from. I think I have that in my bookmarks, but I'm not home right now. I'll look when I get back from class tonight.
