Well I finally broke the 1 dang LCD I've ever had.........................never worked right when I got it anyway. The back light was f'ed up. I tried opening it to fnd the lights and maybe a way to jerryrig my own lighting into it. I hadn't put lights into to but I f'ed it up real good. I had rebuilt it but I hooked it back up to the comp and what little time the lights come on (bout a second every time it recieves a new signal) it was just white this time. Nothing. I might try JetAudio too. I'm sure if it was the age and performance of the system, audacity, or just the screen savver but on longer recordings i got bumpy audio later on. I think it was the screen saver.

Well see I would be the only one that could operate the system then. what would happen if I wasn't there? I need something that can record from a sound board to a 98se computer from RCA cables to the input on the soundcard. I have an adapter to do this. Right now I am using an old home audio cd player player unit to test it but I can't seem to find a program within the system itself. I need anything that can run on Windows 98se, 800MHz Pentium III, 512MB PC133. It would also be nice for it to be free or evn nicer if it were already in windows. I stuck with 98se till january 05 and I think i'll hang on to XP for a little while too. Unless I run into a crap load of cash then that might be different. I bet Vista could easily runn on my Old Compaq with an Athlon XP 2600+, 512MB PC2100, and a GeForce FX 5700 Ultra. My Main System I'm sure could certainly run it fine. (Athlon XP 3000+, 1GB Dual Channel PC3200, GeForce 6600GT). I don't think Microsoft needs to make an OS that needs that much power. Just think of the toll it's gonna take on other programs. I'm usre if I upgraded my main system to Vista it'd slow my games down wouldn't it.
