um it sounds like using a pneumatic or hydralic press to crush the hard drive at the touch of a button would make a lot more sense.

well folks, I'm going to also post example material, Music. Progressive Metal to be exact. How can it be offensive to anyone. It's called Throush Osiris' Eyes and is by Pagan's Mind. It sounds really metalish in certain parts but the lyrics are purely progressive and non-offensive (or so I think). It does mention Heaven but thats about it. An all it says Eyes of heavens reign. Note it isn't christian music rather saying there is actually another origin of man in the 2nd and 3rd album by this band. The third album is almost a concept album having a man that has discovered that humans were a gen

well I'm almost sold on the second that DOSerror linked cuase newegg has slammed the price to 189 and free shipping. nice. BUT again I am concerned that this lower price might suggest it doesn't have the greatest life. (that is one reason why I stuck with CRT's so cause like a Honda motor they frickin last FOREVER) I'd fell the most secure with the Viewsonic cause of the name and the rating it has withas many votes as it has(28) and I like the Rosewill cause of its response time and rating with as many votes as it has (25). The Acer only has 12 votes but I may just get it to fit my budget bett

Well I need (want) DVI cause according to what I have read, it's harder to read text on VGA than DVI. That second you linked is alright but what one person has said kinda concerned me. Plus it has only 6 reviews. Not enough people have really messed with it yet. I'm still a leaning more towards the rosewill and the viewsonic. *hmmm seems newegg has slashed the price on that second one, it is now $189.99, I may just get it if it doesn't seem to be too bad. The guy that runs the local computer store swears by Acer. All I have experience with is Sony, Dell, Gateway, HP/Compaq, and CTX monitors. T

I've already done my shopping and I'm choosing between these 2 monitors. I have looked at a ton of them. Besides, I quit dealing with tigerdirect after I discovered newegg. I can usually find what I'm looking for far more easily and plus their selection is about 3 times bigger. Tigerdirect doesn't give the info that newegg does either and you look at a price and think "hey thats good" but wait it's after a rebate. I've never gotten a single rebate. Besides that same rebate crap is goin down with the rosewill anyway. I want to know between the 2 I have picked which is better.

Well I've decided to get one since they finally are startin to perform decently in games. Also I remember my dad sayin a while back when we had an 8 year old decrepit 17" CRT and my dad said he wished we had an LCD even if it was a 15". Well I want one now too, only I'm getting a 19". Well I'm deciding between these two. Rosewill R913E 19" 4ms LCD This is the Rosewill. It has a 4ms response time and has a 5 star rating. Also only weighs 9.7 pounds. Only problem is the DVI cable that somes with it is too big due to an awkward DVI connection psotion in relation to the stand, but supposedly Rosew

well I don't neccessarily mean artwork members have created themselves but they can display it if they want. I still like "The Arts" Cause it seems to be the only decent name that encompasses all things art.

the minumum length they had for the fingers is also only 10mm so for those of you like me with short fingers are up a creek on this one. Mine were all 8mm though. it does your ratio for your finger length so mine translated to 10mm. Do the british all have freakishly long fingers or something?

for a decent utility pc, scan recyclying drop off areas. I've seen pc's just sittin there before. (You not supposed to leave them there but people do anyway). Usually It's just a simple fix like a new hard drive or just reinstalling windows.

Drivers For Broadcom Bcm94318
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Well I succesfully installed windows but the dern thing was divoid of drivers. I downloaded what I could from eMachines, but all they had was the the ethernet drivers. I looked on broadcom's site but nothing but updated ethernet drivers. What's the deal here how are these drivers so hard to find for this dern laptop? By the way it is wireless drivers I'm looking for. It think they have the rest of the drivers in the W4620 section (this laptop is a W4605 only difference is the processor and video controller) *the drivers were hidden on the w4620 part of the site along with some others. now this -

unfortunately it's one of those stupid recovery CD's instead of a true XP CD so I don't know if it'll actually do a real format and install. If it don't then I'll use FC4 or FC5 to delete the partition and create a new one with the eMachines disc. if it can't do it then I'll use mine to partition and use the eMachines one to install. The restoration disc isn't showin the XP install thing but it May in a little while. We'll just see what happens. -
Ok I told him if he messes it up again he may as well give it to me. Well it's too messed up now to fix without reinstalling windows but I have no idea how to go about it since I'm used to using a 98se boot disk and using fdisk. I guess i just want to format and not delete the partition. I guess if I wanted to take that route I could use my FC4 or FC5 partition managers to do it. What is the best way to format? Thanks for any help.

Upgrades For My Sony Pcv-rs320
Honda_Boy replied to just2good4u3434's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I looked it up on sony's tech support and got the specs, you already have 512MB of memory, how bout another 512? The ram you picked should be compatible and is good RAM. I happen to have 2 sticks of 512MB PC3200 PQI Power RAM running in Dual Channel on my system. I think you might have a free slot in your system for the RAM, but if it's like my Compaq in my room, it has 2x256MB (512MB) and there is only 2 slots. If you are unsure, just open the case and locate the memory. That video card will work but it has no warranty because it is open box. If you want a little more horsepower, a warranty, -
