Ok so I remeber JSKY talking about his build using his same hard drive and copy of windows. He said he did a repair install of WIndows so he wouldn't lose his programs. I wanna do the same thing cause I have over 100GB of crap on that hard drive and I sure ain't losin it.Now if I know newegg My parts should be here tommorrow. I wanna be prepared and ready to do this. I would like to know exactly how to perform this. This is possible when going form an nForce2 Ultra 400 based Gigabyte board and Athlon XP 3000+ to an nForce 4 SLI x16 based EVGA board and Athlon 64 3500+ right? I really don't wa

More Of A Website Problem
Honda_Boy replied to jamaicaman's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I had a problem with my favorite online comic. Due to some issues they had to wait a week to put out their next comic. When it came out the picture was still of the one saying they were having issues but the notes at the bottom of the page changed. I cleared the cache and voila, it was showing th newest comic. By the way the comic is called Concerned and it's a HL2 comic. Concerned I'm a nerd. Yes I am. -
Computer Not Seeing Internet Connection
Honda_Boy replied to fubz's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
make sure the cable is seated correctly on both ends. Is it on a router or hub? try it on a different port and see what happens. If the network card is PCI make sure the card is seated correctly. When helping my preacher set up his wireless network, the card wouldn't work at first but we found that screwing the card down caused it to pop out of the slot. Try opening up your network connections and right click the adapter and click repair. If none of these ideas work then I'd say either faulty card or a corruption in windows. My guess would be hardware. -
oh I know they'll work i just don't want them. I want FMJ rounds instead. Plus like I said one round is too damaged and I think it could ruin the barrel.

drive-by

i'll shoot it as soon as my dad and I get it inspected and get more ammo. Right now all I have is 20 rounds of Remington Soft Point Core-Lokt hunting rounds, and one of them I ain't gonna fire cause the tip looks too damaged.
-
oh now that's cool. Does the ammo box come with it. If it don't I have a 100 Round .30 box to stick it in sittin at my grandmother's house. (It was my granddad's). Only problem is the corrosion thing. I don't know how long they'll sit. Then again they've been sittin for 50 years a few more months ain't gonna hurt. I have no means to reload my own rounds either so that ain't a prob and just over $32 for 200 rounds it definately ain't a prob.

Well I just got the the 2 albums, Infinity Divine and Celestial Calling. The songs I had listed before were from their website. I love one song from Infinity Divine so much I decided to upload it. Take a wild guess at what the song is called.............................Infinity Divine. Pagan's Mind - Infinity Divine Enjoy! * Ya know what is weird. I've looked all over the internet for the correct lyrics for this song but I can't find them. My CD booklet has it right but it's in the car. What's funny is that all the ones I found on the internet were all exactly the same with the same typo even.

my 5700 Ultra didn't hickup at all while using Vista. Only problem is the 3D screens savers. They are kinda rough. Some of the window movements might be rough too. That might be processor related though. Older processors like my Athlon 2600+ ain't quite the greatest for this OS. Memory is crucial. Actually mine is PQI. As if XP wasn't enough of a memory hog. Vista is much worse. It makes XP look like a model of OS memory usage. I was able to operate Vista alright with 512MB but man is it SO much better with 1GB.
-
awesome man thanks. I ought not not have any trouble finding ammo now. Good thing people still use .303 or else I'd be in trouble.
-
Nope my SB Live! still doesn't work. Something ain't right about it anyway. The drivers I downloaded from Creative in any OS will not work. Only the ones from the CD will. The ones from Creative's website say they don't detect any creative products. Huh. Oh well. Ya know TT, there is a 128MB PNY GeForce FX 5500 for only 29.99 on newegg to help shave off a few dollars.

Cabela's was a tad hard to navigate but I found some. I also just now thought of Bass Pro shop................... it took me that long to think of it.
-
My wireless worked just fine in Vista. I had to hardwire it and download the drivers first. (RT2500 series. It works in Linux too.) The drivers were for both XP and Vista. It didn't as good in Vista as it did in XP though. I may jsut booot vista and download some updates here ina little bit and see if my SB Live! will work.

Sandisk- I See No Files, But It Is 1/3 Full?
Honda_Boy replied to LiXindi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Are there actually files on it? Try turning on Show Hidden Files. -
What hav eI bought today? nothng. I plan on purchasing $550 in PC parts on the 10th. New eVGA nForce SLI x16 mobo, Athlon 64 3500+ Venice, eVGA e-GeForce 7600GT video card, and a new PSU. I debating on whether to buy a Forton 450W PSU or a 550W Rosewill on a combo deal. In the Combo the Rosewill would be less. It's supposed to be more powerful, covered up in LEDs and mirror finished I think. The forton is a forton, that's the pros on it. They are supposed to be wicked good. No sleeved cables though. That might be the only major problem. I did however just get 2 CD's Thursday that I ordered la

I like Pagan's Mind (Prog Metal) because it is melodic metal not trying to use shock factor or loads of loud, fast and obnoxious noise along with screaming to sound cool. They also sing about different things usally dealing with celestial subjects. Lemme give you album names. Infinity Divine, Celestial Entrance, and Enigmatic: Calling. I love Rush's thought inspiring songs too. They stimulate the mind if you ask me. Queensryche's 80's stuff was just good ole metal with progressive song structures, and cool orchestral pieces in the background. I guess one thing I love is complex, powerful, melod

college I'm starting not too long from now.

I forgot to mention though me being a progressive and metal listener.......................I LOVE BLUEGRASS!!! I hate what is called country though (just another form of Pop). I particularly hate the forced southern accent in the singing. Usually in bluegrass they just sing with no accent the way most people who sing in English do. The Norweigans that Pagan's Mind are sing with no accent what so ever and ditto with the Finns that Poets of the Fall are. I do like a little techno too. I also like some orchestral stuff like the music from the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
