The treatment for Aminopterin poisoning is FOLIC ACID http://jpet.aspetjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/137/2/167 http://bloodjournal.hematologylibrary.org/...tract/4/10/1142 Although this will not indefinitely protect against toxic exposure it can be used to treat a one time exposure. That's interesting. So how the heck did it get into the food? The last I read was that they were saying it was a wheat gluten problem. What's so ironic about this is that a lot of the tainted brands ie: Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, are touted as very high quality foods. They are sold in veterinarian offices

No, it wasn't intentional....at least I don't think. Just another example of poor quality control management on the part of Menu Foods and Proctor& Gamble. 60 MILLION cans recalled! The fallout from this hasn't even started yet. Here in Ohio, there's a big lawsuit against Land O Lakes. They produce feed for alpacas. There's a dozen farms here that raise them. Seems they sold contaminated feed and the alpacas started dropping like flies. The company admitted it was a bad batch. It's a big buck lawsuit. I had no idea alpacas cost so much. For the last five years or so I've subscribed to DirecTV's MLB Extra Innings package so that I can watch and Tivo out of area games. I'm thinking of this year maybe trying MLB TV instead. You watch the games over the internet on the computer. DTV is starting to annoy me. Anyone have any experience with this? I have high speed and all the system requirements. Thanks, Joe
