Sultan, with the Detroit Lions, they don't need to declare them the worst NFL team in the Nation, that's a given! Now, today, Maine was declared as having the Worst Weather in the Nation! Liz

Listening to MSNBC and it was just announced that Michigan has "the Worst Weather in the Nation" today....funny thing, it isn't that bad today, just cold. Methinks those newscasters are just wimps. Bearskin, beautiful picture even with all that whitestuff, Terrorist, my eyes, my eyes!! Liz

That's beautiful, Hitest! Wish I had your backyard as I'm getting ready to get treebranches from a treefarm to make Christmas Wreaths. What kind of pines are those? They look like fir or spruce from here. Liz

What is it?? In Kindergarten-tech terms, please, or if it's over my head, just tell me it's over my head, I won't mind Liz

Probably about 5 hours straight NW of you, Siddy. Put up your hand to pretend it's Michigan and I'm right below where your pinky starts on the far left side. Love being able to just put up the hand and point! Liz

And once again, Naming, I don't know about you.... Yeah, Siddy, the weatherguessers were predicting the worst weather was going to be South of us (which is very unusual). Nope. We got about a foot of "blue snow". Now, for the Southerners, the snow is bluish, wet and heavy! Took 3 hours to shovel out the driveway. Bearskin, the 5 inches of rain wasn't one raindrop on every 5 inches of ground, was it? I understand that's how they measure rain down there And JDoors, what a good comic! Day before yesterday it was close to 60 degrees, dropped to 30's in about 12 hours Then all this whitec

Using Hjt Or Msconfig To Stop Startups
blim replied to shanenin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Beats me. According to the experts, MSCONFIG should only be used to "look but don't touch" but you're an expert! Wondering why you just don't use MikeLin's Startup Control Panel? I've heard that's a better route, but I certainly don't know why!! Liz -
Thanks for starting this thread, Larry and thanks to all for the great reminders! mmmmmm, ribs... Liz

He's on a good start with two birthdays this month (it was due to a glitchy scrolly thing on the profile page, or glitchy fingers, who knows? ) A Very Happy Birthday, Papa! Have a terrific day Liz

I had to laugh at your showers-being-stress-relievers comment, Brian! When my kids were babies, my Mom told me to take a glass of wine into the tub everyday to relax. I took it one better--in the shower, you can't hear the commotion of Daddy and Kids! I wonder if your friend has a physical condition? There is a condition where the sweat glands are "broken" and no matter how often you shower and deodorize, you stink within minutes. A former Pastor of ours had this and it's miserable, especially when one works with the public! A doctor can often prescribe something to fix this Liz

According to Drew's Forums, we missed a birthday!! (it was yesterday) Happy Belated Birthday, Marty! and hope you had a wonderful day You need to put your birthday in your profile here, young man! Liz

Agreed, it's a coin flip! Now, I know XP handles housekeeping differently, but with ME as Potato has, wouldn't shutting it down clear up the RAM and put any straggling files or tennis shoes back where they belong? I personally shut the idiot box off at night Liz

I'm holding out on installing IE7 as long as I can, but Barb posted something that maybe might help here? To be honest, I haven't looked at it, but comments say there are a lot of good tips! Liz

Happy Birthday Tictoc and D_Leet! Hope you both have a wonderful day! Liz
