    Last Saturday we took my oldest daughter...four of her best friends..and her younger sister to the Santa Monica Pier for her 12th birthday party...The pier has a small amusement park with all the popular/standard fair rides and a carney alley...

    It was a sunny.. about 65 degrees and a nice day to be at the beach so it was pretty busy...lot's of young families and kids running about to a fro...i did the circuit of rides three or four times with our kids before i got parental and decided to stop trying to keep up with a bunch of high amped 12 y/o girls and just keep an eye on them as they got on and off the rides...

    one of their favorites was a thing called the dragon...a pendulum thing that swings back and forth higher and higher..lots of screaming kids during and after the ride...

    so i'm waiting for the girls at the exit and there's this little boy..may 5 or 6 years old is just laughing and giggling uncontrolably getting off the ride..

    ..his mother..who was standing next to me laughed and said to her son.."boy...i guess you had fun on that ride..huh!?"

    to which he replied in a loud almost proud voice...

    "...ya...and it made my privates feel funny too!"

    ..i will never forget the look on that poor moms face.. :blush::whistling::poster_oops:

    Got it now.

    First time I had to get an update this way.

    Went to Add and Remove and was happy to see it was there.

    ditto all that...had the same problem and sethooks link saved the day...still curious as to what happened to the update sites download though....seems odd and a bit disturbing.. :wacko::unsure::blink:

    but i was rolling on the floor when she covered her eyes and blurted..."oh my gosh...this should be rated R..that's just wrong.." when mick was shaking his hips..

    looks like the stones have finally reached the end of their generational fan base...lol

    I finaly won a "Free 1 Liter Coke"! (I think that 1 in 12 wins crap is a LIE! ) ANyway.... I take it to a gas station,

    and they claim they cant accept those. So, i go to a couple more. Im finaly told i have to take it to a "major super market". So, i go to a couple super markets, but they dont sell one liter cokes!!!!! I think Coca Cola figured out "the system"!

    ANyway, I took it to walmart and the cashier didnt notice I had a 12 oz coke. hehehe

    *end rant*

    seems like you burned a lot of gas for that "free" coke....and it was Coca Cola who INVENTED "the system"...stopped drinking that stuff on principal years ago.... :wacko::blink::unsure:

    good question...not sure of the answer...but i have noticed the same thing...the media player in my FF(1.5) is a bit slow to load and "glitchy" and since i don't use ie much anymore it took a while to notice the difference...but for me the player in ie works better and faster...

    btw..what do you think of the pipeline subscription...i'm just about out of time on the free trial and i'm still not sure it's worth the couple of bucks a month...?? :unsure::unsure:

    the "big 3"sold out the U.S worker and middle class years ago...

    all the Japanese have done for years is build an affordable...fuel efficient and reliable vehicle...and built factories in the USA...Ford..GM..moved their factories to Mexico...and refused to build anything close to an efficient...reliable car...

    Well it didn't work for me in I.E., Firefox, Mozilla or Opera. The link for each was no connection.

    So I tried to google the site and there it was. I then bookmarked and replaced the links in each browser and they are ok now. I have no idea why or what....but they work. :rolleyes:

    same here...had to reset the bookmark in FF...

    have not been able to open site in FF for two days...is it just me..?? :wacko::unsure:

    ..well just checked if i could get on with ie....and no problem....so must be my FF settings...??

    For Mac...and this is going to sound overly simplistic....but those of us who fight depression know that it's the little choices we make each day...sometimes each hour/or even minute..that keep us in the darkness..

    ..SO...get up and go take a walk...short one...long one...in the rain..or in the snow...in the morning or late at night whatever..but physically getting up and moving will help re-set the chemical imbalance of the "blues" and the mental energy required will help you re-focus....

    if you're out of shape and overweight like me...push yourself at bit past your comfort point...and don't be afraid of getting a little winded...you will feel better after even mild exertion..

    if you're in shape...jog a bit...

    if you're honest about it..you know the depression has given you a certain comfortable routine...and has progressed over a period of time...breaking that routine helps break the bonds of the beast...walking helps reset a new.. better routine...remember depression is anti-life...walk to live...

    you have the means to solve all the issues you are faced with in your life...
