To turn off password expiration, follow these steps: 1) Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. 2) Click to expand Local Users and Groups, and then click Users. 3) Double-click the user account that should not have a password expiration, and click to select the Password never expires check box. I don't have 2000 here but this sounds right.
