I'll be glad to argue it at G4 or some place else. I just like the fact that we try to put our differences aside here and just be freinds and help each other out. It's no secret that we have a wide diversity of people here, what's nice is we let that stuff slide and just try to get along.

Hey toots, let this die. It's not about Sygate anymore and this site is not about arguing our politics. Well maybe in the open thread. What I like about this place is that, yes we have wide differences in our views but we come together to help each other out with our tech problems and that should be the focus of why we are here. I think I saw somewhere you have to close Opera and reopen to have it take effect for that particular ad. Not sure about that though.

Did a search and did not find Opera6.ini. Yes hidden files is removed. (Application Data is a hidden file).

Good for you, it is not easy. I know, I quit 7 yrs ago, and now have no desire to smoke. You will be OK now, because why ruin one whole year with 1 cigarette. I'm proud of you too. Barb I quit for 3 years once. I'm still smoking today. There's no safe amount of time for an addict. One day at a time. That's all you get. However you do it.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\opera6.ini That's where it says it is, but when I follow that, after the first Opera folder I don't have another Opera folder. I have two folders, Mail and Profile. That's it and there's no Opera6.ini file in either of them. I smell a reinsrall coming. Dang I've got this set up the way I like it. Why do I have the weird problems. Nevermind, that's another thread. Is there a recommended uninstall method? I want the files in their intended places.

Nope. My profile folder is C/Docs & Settings/Admin/App Data/Opera/Profile. I've looked through all folders, noOpera6.ini anywhere. Not in the program folder either. Technically I shouldn't be able to run Opera without should I?

Hey Liz, I've been to your neck of the woods a couple of times. My ex-inlaws lived in Grand Haven. I didn't care for them all that much (he called by my wifes first husband's name several times). Drove around Muskegon, Holland and Grand Rapids. It's really pretty up there. Grand Haven has a pretty cool water and light show on the lake. The reason I could be talked into going was we would spend several days on the way up and back and catch some Cubs games. That's Heaven.....a warm day at Wrigley field and the Cubbies win. I love Chicago.
