further update on my Ford. I wasn't the timing belt that broke, but the bolt that holds the tensioner sheared flush with the block. The belt was still in one piece. Now they have thremove the remainder of the bolt and install a new one. Of course they didn't have an easy out of the right size so still no car. The corolla is sitting out front of the house with a busted radiator (I was supposed to get one from the junkyard for it on Mondaybut no way to get there and pick it up)Hopefully I will get mine back tomorrow and the radiator for my son's on Friday. It's a good job my office is only 2 blo

We had 5 people die here in a bad fire. They were living in 2 campers pulled together and heated by 4 kerosene heaters. Another person in a mobile home almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning from a kerosene heater also. Those things are very dangerous, so anyone out there using them please be very careful. keep the wicks clean and trimmed so they burn properly and make sure that they are well away from anything flammable. I personally hate having to go into houses that have had a fire to see if they need to be condemned or not. Everyone take care and have a wonderful holiday season

It's a Ford, need I say more Day 2 going to my second job water pump goes bad Day 6 power steering belt jumps off while 20 miles from home, mechanic didn't tighten the bolts on the power steering pump Day 40 (first cold night) back on day 2 when they replaced the water pump they filled the radiator with water, didn't mention that fact. water pump froze and broke the power steering belt They also replaced the timing belt Day 51 (yesterday) timing belt broke less than 3000 miles since they supposedly replaced it yes its an interference engine, I rolled about 200 yards after ther belt broke
