  5. Just for some information on this company: the spyware tool is crap. IC Spyware Scanner allume.com aladdinsys.com Gives ridiculous false positives; outrageous license terms; crashes during scan; this application is bundled in Internet Cleanup (same company) as spyware protection.   6. Please download WebRoot SpySweeper from HERE (It's a 2 week trial): Click Download Now to download the program. Install it. Once the program is installed, it will open. It will prompt you to update to the latest definitions, click Yes. Once the definitions are installed, click Options on the left side. Click the Sweep Options tab.   8. handplane, I'm pretty sure you are clean, based on the panda report, that smitrem didnt remove anything, and this is the only thing ad-aware found. It is most likely a dormant file. See if ad-aware can get rid of it. If you need this reopened, shoot me a PM. Matt
  9. This may be a remnant of a smitfraud infection that is no longer present. I'm going to move this to the HJT section since I'd like to see a HJT log. You are going to have to work in safe mode for this, so you may wish to print out these directions. Download smitRem.exe ©noahdfear, and save the file to your desktop. Double click on the file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.   13. Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot. From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log. IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you ar

  16. Even with all the issues I have with FF (dont get me started, I'm just convinced the mozilla foundation hates me) Its still my #1. I never really warmed up to Opera, and I just hate IE.
  17. I've got the KOSS Pro3AA and I think they're great. Pretty good Frequency Response, and outside noise is just about 0. The cord is nice and long, and has a single point entry cable that fits into a portable device or a stereo device. I'd reccomend them!
