    Somebody needs to lock this thread and trash it every time I see I go make a pot of Coffee I'm geeking and I can't sleep, and since caffeine is a diuretic I'm whizzing like a Horse with a bad prostate.

    Welcome CherokeeChief!!!!!  You don't know me, but I've read your posts on G4 since the TTV days, so I feel like I already know you (shhh, don't warn him about me, he'll have to find out the hard way :) ).  You're a welcome addition to the BT family.  You'll like it here!!

    Anyone use a Canon 10D around here?

    I do and love it.

    I'm using a Canon 28-35 f3.5-4.5 presently.

    I want to get something with a wide angle, perhaps a prime (so I can get better wide angle photos of my (almost) finally completed kitchen among other things).

    Also a zoom of about 70-300?

    Any ideas?

    I looked at some Canons and Sigmas.

    By the way, anyone interested in a Photography forum on this site?

    Might be nice.

    good for you Tenmm. people who ride with me in my vehicles think i'm weird because i don't like to listen to the radio or anything. i like to just listen to the engine. but i do like to be listening to music all the time though but just not in the car. i don't know why.

    anyways i've got an iPod Shuffle and use it all the time.

    My PU has AC,I prefer to blast down the road using that old 2/60 AC.

    The only time I listen to the stereo is on the freeway I use it to cover the road noise.

    Goman, yep, gotta love Beck.... :thumbsup:  I'm an embarrassment to my kids, but a hero to their friends, I love all the "new stuff"--Greenday, Yellowcard, 3 Doors, etc.  I "grew up" in the Hair Band and Disco age (ick) and it's so nice to have some good music nowadays (Thank God for Punk and Alternative for bringing some fun and a melody back to modern music!)

    Here's something amusing that the "old younger members" already know, but the "new younger members" don't.  My 72 year old mother absolutely loves Punk.  :D  Son introduced it to her at his High School Graduation Party (not an Open House as there were more kids than adults, as it should be, it was his party!!) and even ended up making her a CD.  She says, "this is great, you can dance to this" (she grew up in the Swing age, great dancing music!) Her favorite band is New Found Glory.
