flashh4 Posted November 19, 2004 Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 hey all, ok ,everytime i bootup i have a different set of icons runnimg in task bar.anyone ever have this prob & how do i fix the prob. would it have anything to do with a corrupt i386 folder i think its called,because some time ago i had volume control button dissapeared from taskbar,some times its there & sometimes its gone. i tried the microsoft fix for the sound button,& when i tried ti fix it computer disk said improper command & yes ive made sure the box is checked in apply to taskbar, guess maby i have 2 probs here. i hope thismakes sence .if more info is needed please ask........ just learning .....STAY SAFE Quote Link to post Share on other sites

flashh4 Posted November 19, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 useing XP pro home upgrade------ from Me ................. ran all the spyware & adware, nada. i did run the restore desk top icon & taskbar. & it is now in my taskbar but ive done other things & its there also. so ill wait and see if it stays there for awhile, usually it goes away .i cant reinstall xp because i only have recovery disk & an old 95 disk, anyway ill wait & see if this fixes the prob. thanks.... 1911 FOR YOUR RESPONCE & INFEKTIOUS...........
