it may be posible that your browser has been hijacked, i've never heard of this type of problem before. post a HiJack log here when you can, and remember that its the weekend, so not everyone will be here till maybe after 10pm (or so).

I was told by some people frmo G4 to come here, my browsers only show images when they want. and only at some sites, like myspace pictures wont show up at all, sometimes when a forum uses a picture for the "new thread" button that wont show up ext, I can post a hijackthis log file if need be

You said "browsers" as in plural, does this happen when you use different browsers, and which ones are you using?

What do you get in their place, just the red X placeholder?

Some other items that may be important: What type of connection do you have to the Internet? What type of security software do you have running? (Popup blockers, etc.)

Did you try that trick TT showed us about HJthis host file etc..??

If so that could be your problem...
