Mouse Problem

When i double click on files or folders , the files and folders are not opening , but when i click on menu bar that is single click it works .

Have you checked your mouse sensitivity (how near an object it must be or how close to the same spot for a double click) and timing (how much time between clicks constitutes a double click? )

Control panel, mouse lets you adjust the double click speed.

You need TweakUI from microsoft to adjust the sensitivity.

Run it and in its mouse applets there are all the controls and test buttons.
