and like you ive often wondered what it is

like to have xmas in the snow

we have it all at xmas

normally we have the sun from december

until around the end of feb

but this year has been the coldest dec

on record

and it is cold, a sort of clingy cold

not the sharp crisp cold winter brings

i blame global warming

in my life time ive never experienced a dec like it

nor has the climate records shown that.

so may be the global weather cycle is changing

and you will get xmas in the summer

Ooohhhh! Thanks for the invite, Marty! NZ is such a beautiful country with equally beautiful people. I've always wanted to go "down under". Someday....someday...! And you can bet that if we ever go to NZ, I will definitely contact you for a meetup!

And you know with your Ladyfriend from the other board, any friend of yours is a friend of ours! We will welcome her with open arms ready for a hug

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Huby and I are hardly speaking... well now it's not what you thought either (though I admit we have been stressed out abit with all this new season of our lives stuff to figure out but haven't gotten mad enough to quit speaking!!!)...We just have a light case of a larnygitis(sp?) bug.... can't spell or type either...fuzzy headed too, or fuzzier than usual I should say. He's better than me, he got it first. So will do a nice ham dinner for him tomorrow, though I may just eat soup.

As for going down to NZ, that is one of things I have always wanted to do!!! How about it Liz? We just need to win the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes!!!

Marty, how have you been doing, and have the Drs figured out what is going on from your tests? I haven't been on the boards much this past week or so, just saw somewhere that you were having angina pains and tests. I sure hope and pray that you will recover completely from them. Modern medicine has come along ways to be able to help people with various heart problems since my Dad suffered many years ago with both Diabetes and heart problems.

Merry Christmas folks.

Pat

God bless everyone

Oooops!!!! Misquote!!! Misquote!!!! :blush::blush::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Last part of that was Marty, not me!!! HA HA HA!!!!

Had a good laugh over how your post got mixed into mine there, Marty. HaHa!!

Glad you have a spray? for your angina? that helps. What is it a nitro spray, or? If Nitro, be sure to watch dates that it is good for, at least with the pills they used to with time become useless, but maybe improved now.

yes it is a nitro spray

just to show how we can be ignorant of medical science

i had a prostrate operation

when i came home they gave me this nitro spray

to use if i got a tightness of my chest

well i couldnt figure out how this spray

couldnt have any thing to do with my prostrate

so it sat in the draw

with out being used

so when i had an angina

attack i

thought i was having astma problems

and it wasent until i got to the hospital

i found it wasent astma at all

my god my doc gave me a real dressing down

and said we didnt give you that spray for an orniment

so ive learned my lesson

i need to say medical science has made leaps and bounds

and has saved many lives

especially among the elderly

and as a result people are living much longer

than it use to be

my father died at 52

and that was the age many people lived to in those days

but now the age has risen three fold

because of this modern science

so people are now living much longer

and many are leading a normal life

as long as they take their medication[marty take heed]

in my case im to blame no one else

but i didnt realise that until i went to hospital

i nearly died learning a hard lesson

so any one reading this post

please learn from it

I feel your pain Marty.

It's been rediculously hot here most of the year.

But as our "leader" here in the states says, "Duh..........what's that there global warming stuff about?

Sad, but true.
